I suddenly found myself sitting in front of an American man smiling like the happiest person in the world. I was sitting in a long chair with the screen in front of me.
I was confused since I don't recall coming to any kind of show and the man in front of me… is he Regis Philbin?

The man in front of me answered as if he was reading my mind. Before I ask all cliché isekai protagonist questions like where am I. Am I dead or the person is god? He decided to explain me.

He said with a serious face and remained silent. I know what happened to me so I only sighed before waiting for his next sentence.
"As for my identity, I am not the person from your world but the angel of reincarnation. And before you ask, why I am in this form then I couldn't reveal my true form to mortal even to a soul and I decided to incarnate you through this game."

I have no idea where this train was going but I don't think there is anything good lies ahead.

Well, it was more like a questionnaire where I will get a Pokémon based on different choices.
"Option b) kingdom building." Taking it as a joke, I answered.
It is my favorite genre in isekai. I loved overlord and No game no life.
Overlord can be considered a proper kingdom-building where an antihero conquers through conspiracies and strategy if you read the novel. No game no life is also a kind of kingdom building in a sense of winning territories through the game.
But Release That Witch comes on top of the kingdom building. I spent a full month reading all 1200 chapters because it was very interesting. MC was not overpowered but he used his brain to develop technologies to fight against demons. It is my forever favorite isekai series and more so, it was my only Chinese novel that I read. The rest of them are complete cultivation trash.
Of course, I also love harem romance and action like Jobless Reincarnation but I like to read kingdom-building more.
"Oh, good choice. Then for the second question. At what age, you would like to be incarnated?

Who wouldn't like to be the king? I never had parents so being an orphan again is a no. I don't like to serve anyone so as a noble I have to lick the boots of others so it was also a no. I tried farming in my previous life but I would rather enjoy a chilling life while becoming stronger than work on farms.

A character appeared on the screen with golden armor and blond hair. Oh, I don't like where this s going.

Gilgamesh is a good character but he has a shitty personality quite opposite to me. He is a loli killer so I don't like him much. Yeah, he is strong but I would like my own identity rather than being a second hand.
"What are you saying? It is in million time chance. You should be proud of yourself, my next king~"
I stood from my chair in panic and asked again, "Wait please reconsider. I will like to change few things!"
"Everything will be taken care of. Bye~"
"Nooo…" I cried before my consciousness faded.
