Hello reader
Mostly writing this for myself. A form of public anonymous expression of depression? In no way do I think this will fix how I feel, but I figured I could enjoy imagining myself if different worlds, especially world I enjoyed watching. Most are going to be very basic because like I said in the synopsis I'm not a writer.
We're starting in Pokémon because who better to subtly influence the MC than our very own Ash Ketchum. I'm purposely going to skip a lot of the technical stuff at the beginning because personally I've read so many reincarnation novels and fanfics that the same "MC must live through baby stage, or MC has no background in this world" while that's good for a true fan fic this isn't necessarily that, it's just going to be understood that he gets a Pokémon, dex and poke balls from Professor Oaks lab at the same time Ash does. I know most people will just read the first actual chapter so I'll put a slight heads up there as well.
Also I'm an extremely casual watcher/player I don't know what abilities and shit Pokémon can have or can't have. I don't know how to animal biology or anything, so don't expect me to be like "oh Charmander is a lizard, he needs bugs, sunlight and a buffer to shine his scales or some shit". It's literally just gonna be similar to how you care for your Pokémon in the games, and barebones in even in that sense.
I also don't plan on doing much research on any of the stories besides maybe watching an episode or 2 while I'm writing it, and character names I can't remember.
