Heda Leksa Kom Trikru

"I have a message from the Commander," Chancellor Jaha panted, "Leave...or die."

Mahuta smiled. He looked at his people and asked, "Do you want to leave?"

"No" "Nah!" "Hell no!"

"We aren't going anywhere, and you are not welcome here," said Mahuta.

"Penny, Jax, escort the Chancellor to Ark Camp," he said.

"Cheif, it's called camp Jaha now."

"I don't care. Just get him there." Mahuta order waved everyone back to work.

Two days passed after that. During that time, Raven told Mahuta what she originally left her tent to say. She had discovered Mount Wheater was jamming all communications.

"I know." was all Mahuta said.

He figured it out a while ago.

"You know?" Raven asked, stunned.

"Yes. Why do you think I change the radio channel every few days. We're using prey war military radios. Our channels are encrypted. If they want to jam us, they have to find our station and break the encryption first. Not to mention the anti-jamming redundancies built into the system. The radios were meant to be used in war times. What you're picking up is Mount Weather talking underneath their jamming signal to each other." Mahuta explained.

Raven smiled and happily accepted her defeat. "So what now?" she asked.

"Now we kill the fuckers who shot you and came after my people. They also tried to take my pregnant wife. I will kill them. But first, we need to make something that I've been thinking about." said Mahuta.

"What is it?"

Mahuta put on a devilish smile. "On container and to highly volatile substance, only when mixed."

Raven's eyes went wide. "I know how to do that. I know how to help!" she squeaked. "we need to get back to Drop Site."

Mahuta smiled with pride. So much so that he just kissed his lover, over and over again.

Two days had passed, and Mahuta now sat on his Regal Stag, Koura Kingi. The rest of the warriors were preparing to march with him when Clarke and a few Ark Guards came out of the brush.

"Mahuta!" Clarke shouted, "You know I wouldn't be here unless I was desperate!"

"Girl! I thought you were dead. Then again, dead people have been showing up at my gates recently. What do you want?!"

"The Grounder Army is at Camp Jaha. We need Skaiheda." Said Clarke.

"Don't trust her." Said Mira.

Raven shook her head. "No. No, don't trust her." Raven added.

"What are you hiding, Clarke?" Raven asked. "little Creek has been peaceful for weeks. We--"

Mahuta put his hand up to silence Raven.

Clarke frowned, and she suddenly became worried. "They want to kill Finn. He massacred a village."

"There it is. That's why my messenger never came, and Jaha appeared instead. You want me to save Finn?" Mahuta asked.

"Please." She begged.

Mahuta nodded, then shooked everyone. "Okay..." He replied.

"Mahuta--"

"Enough! I'm chief, and I know what's best for my people." He declared.

Later that day, all of Litte Creek appeared behind the Grounder's camp. The two forces were in a stand-off as Mahuta asked to speak to Leksa Kom Triku, Heda.

Mira, Clarke, Raven, and Mahuta were led to Leksa. And behind her was a familiar face.

"It's been a while, Indra," Mahuta spoke.

Indra remained silent and gave him a simple nod.

"Too long!" A familiar accent sang.

Mahuta looked to the left and saw Lily Kom Azgeda slowly approach.

"I see they managed to pack your guts back in." Said Mahuta.

Lily put on her signature maniacal smile.

"When I heal, we go again, Skaiheda." She said.

"Anytime." Mahuta then looked at the quiet woman, the only one seated in camp. "You must be Leksa."

Leksa is of average height, slim, with a high forehead, full lips, lightly tanned skin, green eyes, and a youthful face. She also has long, wavy brown hair kept in braids. Leksa wears tribal face paint on the battlefield and the Commander's emblem on her forehead.

Right away, Tanemahuta could tell what kind of leader he was looking at. Leksa is different from Indra, Clarke, Marcus, and Jaha. Leksa has a stoic and rather cynical vibe; she appears aloof and impassive, making her a difficult target to provoke.

Mahuta killed many of her people, Finn slaughter a village. Yet, not an ounce of emotion was displayed when she saw Mahuta. This told Mahuta that Leksa's judgment and actions are decisive and unfettered by emotions.

"Heda.." Said Mahuta.

"Tanemahuta Ngata, High Cheif of the Little Creek. Skaiheda would mean your people are you nighted under you. But I know better. The difference between the two clans is night and day." Said Leksa.

"Thank you for announcing the distinction. Now that you have, you can declare war against me, or we can talk another time."

"Do you not care what happens to these people?" Leksa asked.

"Neh. If Finn killed women and children of mine. I would want him butchered by the hands of my people in front of my people. Murder isn't the crime. The crime is that he took life without proving his cause as just being that the Mountain Men took Clarke and not you. So kill the idiot."

Grounders whispered to each other, and Leksa looked pleased.

"Is this the law of Little Creek?" Leksa asked.

"Yes. I have many laws compiled from various doctrines from history. Wrongfully causing someone is punishable by death. Theft is punishable by amputation of the hand until he has no hands and only his life to give." Mahuta explained.

Leksa flashes a brief smirk.

"How would you deal with people unwelcomed on your land?" She asked.

"If I don't want to sell? Fight them until they lose half their numbers and take the rest as slaves. Or until I lose more than I'm willing, at that point, I will forfeit the land."

"You are an interesting one, Tanemahuta Ngata. Indra and Lily said you were unlike the other sky people."

"Ha! I would hope so. I thought Indra and I had really hit it off. May speak to her?" Mahuta asked.

Leksa nodded.

"I hope the food and supplies served your people well." Said Mahuta.

"It did. It's allowing us to store more meat before the winter becomes too cold." Said, Indra.

"Ahh, speaking of trade. Little Creek. I don't plan to fight wars every other week. So name your price." Mahuta spoke to Leksa.

"You appear to be different. But If I said the price is the head of the Finn. What would you say?"

"I would say to give me an hour," Mahuta replied.

"Deal." Said Leksa.

Mahuta sped to Clarke's side and immediately knocked her out, shocking the grounders.

Mahuta gave them a half-smile and said, "love makes you do stupid things. I don't need her fucking up our deal. I trust that you can hold her until I return?"

"Of Course, Big Man!" Lily sang.

"Little girl, who raised you? Can't you see the adult are talking?" Mahuta quipped.

Lilly puckered her lips as she frowned.

"Don't mind the crazy bitch." Said Leksa, "You're the only one to survive her spear, and since she survived your sword, she believes fate has bonded you as friends."

Mahuta looked at Lily with an incredulous look. "Okay... Well, I'll be back with that head."

"Mahuta," Raven spoke.

"What?" he asked.

Raven frowned, and Mahuta rolled his eyes with an annoyed sigh. "What will happen to Camp Jaha?"

"You all fell from the sky, and if there was a way to send you back, that would be an option. However, If they can provide compensation for the land they have settled, we shouldn't have problems."

Mahuta looked at Leksa for a moment. "Good enough for me."

----------------------------------------

Sometime later, Mahuta and Camillia were at a blindspot of Camp Jaha's perimeter. The camp was fenced off with log posts with electrified wires. Mahuta actually laughed when he realized her stupid it was.

Using his mana, he softens the ground the used his telekinesis to push the dirt aside. Mahuta and Camilla then crawl under the taut electrified wire and walk freely through the camp.

It didn't take long to find Finn drowning his sorrows in moonshine.

"This why the Ark people will never be at peace with grounders. He massacres a village, and he is free to drink. They believe the grounders are less than them. To each their own fate. Let's grab him."

--------------------------------

"One head," Mahuta replied as he kicked a bond Finn to his knees.

"That looks like--"

Shing!

Leksa was cut off by Mahuta decapitating Finn in front of the grounders. Clarke cried out as she watched her lover's execution. Lily scuffed and punched her unconscious again.

"Little Creek, and the land around it is mine now. The deal is done." Said Mahuta.

"The deal is done." Leksa agreed.

She didn't show it, but she was also surprised when Mahuta decapitated the man so easily.

"Good. Come by Little Creek some time. Make sure to send a messenger first. Indra, does our trade deal still stand?"

Indra gave a firm nod. Though Raven felt that the whole ordeal was too easy. Mahuta knew that everything resulted from his understanding of their culture and willingness to abide by said culture.
