"How's Lucille?" 

He gritted his teeth as he observed Nicole from the rim of his coffee mug, sitting across from him, cool as a cucumber. He knew that she could be a bitch but he didn't know the extent of it until now. 

Nicole is a hardcore manipulative bitch. After Jess left, he sat down with Lucille and asked her for the reason why she stopped contacting her Aunt Jessie and Lucille spilled everything about what her mother said. 

When he heard that Nicole ordered their daughter to stop contacting Jess because she's not going to stay in their life forever, he wanted to strangle Nicole. But seeing her now, he could not help but just chuckle inwardly with pity.
