Chapter 215: A shower together

"We're almost finished." Ethan spoke to her in a gentle tone as he gave her the last pill on her medication list. Soon she will stop taking them.

Forcing the last pill down her throat, Petal drinks the whole water cup hoping it will replace the bad taste of the medication and supplements. She hates this time of the day. 

Pressing her head against Ethan's chest, Petal closed her eyes feeling tired. Mostly because of the medications' effects. But she didn't want to sleep. She hated sleeping during the day. Looking up at Ethan, Petal signaled."I don't want to sleep." 

Ethan kissed the top of her head, Ethan tugged her silky dark locks behind her ears exposing her hearing device in the process. Usually, Petal feels uncomfortable showing her hearing devices but with Ethan around, she doesn't.
