Lana bent down and kissed the girl's forehead and sat up. Looking at her, She was in a deep sleep because of the medications, Leaving the bedside lamp on, She stood up leaving the room heading towards her son's room.
When she opened the door of the room to leave, Lana saw her daughter, Alice, Coming towards this room.
Lana closed the door behind so she wouldn't disturb the sleeping girl.
"How is she?" Alice asked, noticing the angry look on her mother's face.
"She is resting now, I cleaned her wound and changed her clothes, I injected her with a sedative, She won't wake up until tomorrow." Lana replied before she left.
Alice sighed as opened the door to the room and went inside to check on Patel.
When Lana reached the first floor, She walked towards Ethan's room. She pushed the door open, not even bothering to knock.
Ethan who just came out of the bathroom and was drying his hair turned to look at his mother who was standing by the door.
"Don't you know that you should knock first, Mam?" Ethan said as he walked towards the chair, Sitting on it.
Not bothered with his words, Lana entered the room and closed the door.
"Why did you do that? Ethan, Your revenge was with Henry, Olivia didn't have to die." Lana said feeling sad for her childhood friend who she lost.
"No, My revenge was with the whole family." Ethan spoke as he stood up walking towards his mother."The reason why I let that girl live is because of you Mam, But that doesn't mean that she will live in peace here, So she should leave the mansion." Ethan added warring his mother.
Lana cupped her son's face with both hands and kissed his forehead and watched how he closed his eyes and leaned into her touch.
"I know that you are feeling lost and that you are obligated to take revenge, But you don't have to." Lana said and pulled her son into her embrace.
Ethan relaxed gradually in his mother embrace, He wished that he could stay like this forever and not think about anything, His heart felt heavy and he only wanted to close his eyes forever, He wished to find someone who will be able to remove all the sadness in his heart and replaced it with just a little bit of happiness.
When Ethan opened his eyes, He was back to reality. He knew that no matter how beautiful these wishes are, They can never come true, Not to someone like him, Someone whose hand was covered with blood.
