Chapter 123: The Honeymoon Phase

Aubrey had never seen Eden as depressed over a guy as when she thought "Troy" moved away.  In her mind, Jonah was different from the others but that remained to be seen. At minimum, the guy had some serious mental health issues and that could be a major red flag. 

She could understand that his life totally sucked but that could cause Eden a lot of problems. She shouldn't pin her happiness on someone so unstable when all she ever dreamed of was a stable family of her own. 

Maybe she was overreacting but she couldn't stand back and watch her best friend get burned again. Especially since Eden already knew how much it would hurt if she lost him since she had once before. 

Still, if Jonah was going to be around long term, Aubrey would have to learn to like him. Otherwise she would end up alienated from her favorite person in the world aside from David.
