Chapter 90: Thank You Card

The badge's ID photo was grainy and seemed like some sort of mistake had been made in the printing because the right half of the picture had a strange, bubbled quality to it. Jonah Kelly wasn't smiling in his photo either so it looked sort of like a distorted mug shot. 

Eden had only seen him a few times but the photo didn't do him justice. He was much handsomer in person. 

But that was a silly thought to have right now. Unimportant. She should be less concerned with how photogenic Troy's cousin was and more concerned about what on earth he had been doing here. 

This ID badge was indisputable proof that he was the one that saved her. This was the second time he had done so now and he still hadn't spoken a full sentence to her because he always ran away in disgust.
