Chapter 2: Episode 2: The New Earthni Rulers
It is morning in Earthni when Star saw Eclipsa and told her to go to Butterfly Castle quickly. Star quickly changed clothes and wrote a note on her door unless Marco comes looking for her. Eclipsa and Star quickly ran to the Butterfly Castle. when they arrived, Star goes to her mom asking why did she sent her to the Butterfly Castle.
Star: Mom? Why did you send me in a hurry?
Moon: Star, now's your chance.
Star: Chance? What Chance?
Moon: Eclipsa and I talked about that you should be the ruler of Earthni. I can't believe you're ruling!-
Star: Uh, mom?
Moon: -and then you will be in charge of the place.
Star: Mom!
Moon: What?
Star: Why would I rule? You told us yesterday, the Era of Queens had ended.
Moon: Star, there's always a new beginning after an ending.
Star: But, I am too young to become a perfect queen like you.
Moon: Are you sure? Eclipsa and I both reigned when we were at your age. Right, Eclipsa?
Eclipsa: Yes, I reigned as a young teenager as well, but correction, it's not both, we did not reign at the same age and time.
Star: But mom, the time when you were gone and I temporarily became queen was so difficult but imagine now, so many people and incoming problems. I don't think I can handle. Thanks for bringing me here but I think I should get home.
Eclipsa: Star, wait!
Star: Why? I Already said it, I don't want to be queen.
Moon: You sure you don't want it?
Eclipsa: Because we decided if you became queen, Marco will become king alongside you.
Star: (gasp) Is that real?
Eclipsa: (whispering to Moon) I knew, that would work, Star really likes Marco.. hehe
Star: Wait, what did you say?
Eclipsa: Nothing!
Star: Being queen... I'm not yet very trained.
Moon: Star, Eclipsa said that you are mature like me and forward thinking like her, she said you helped her on Mewni on the battle with Mina.
Star: Sure, that is true
Before Star can continue speaking the door suddenly opens loudly, Star found Marco panting and glad to see her. But confused why he left like that.
Star: Ugh, Marco, you blind? Can't you see the note I left on my door?
Marco: You mean this?
Star: Uh, yes sure, thanks for pointing out
Moon: Ehem, where was I?
Star: I was saying goodbye?
Moon: No, not that.
Even before Moon can even talked, Eclipsa told Marco that he is becoming king, and then Star and Marco were completely confused...
Stating they don't want to rule yet even with the two of them together. Then River suddenly interrupted their conversation, Star then surprised and hugged his father. And River asks what's going on. Moon explains to River, while River was listening, he had a very suspicious look on Eclipsa.
River: What's SHE doing here?
Eclipsa: Oh, are you afraid that my evil hands will get on you? (giggles)
Moon: Well we've all been here too long, especially Star, how about you go home, then we'll talk about this later.
Star, on a bad mood left the castle. Marco suddenly asks why don't she want to be queen?
Star recall the time when her mother was gone and she became "pretending queen" (On Episode "Conquer") and was very stressful, but then said, "Ruling Mewni is hard, with monsters and Mewmans going wild, but how about now? More humans, monsters, and Mewmans going wild in Earthni.
Marco: But you could try. You even made plans on facing Meteora. Your "Divide and Conquer" plan.
Star: Yeah, sure thanks for bringing that up.
Star and Marco bump into their friends, but before one of them will talk. Marco raised his hand as a signal for no.(Well, he simply raised his hand.) When going home, Star suddenly laid on Marco's shoulders feeling tired and sleepy. Marco said, "Well, looks like you're tired, Star". They already went home, Marco took Star to her room, Marco then ate breakfast. For a while, Star rose up and found a bowl of nachos (Marco's nachos) on her doorstep. Before she can even touch the nachos, the nachos kept moving.
Star: Grrr, come here you nachos!
Marco (offscreen): (giggles)
The nachos continually going down until it got to Marco, Marco looks up and found Star annoyed, Star suddenly slapped Marco.
Star: So it was you all along!!!
Marco: There's a reason for that.
Star: Yeah? Why?
Marco: ( points at door)(there's a note saying "Go to Butterfly Castle ASAP!")
Star: What's so special about tha... Wait.
Marco: Yep, you know it. Let's leave
Star: Are you kidding me? Give me nachos!
Star ate some nachos and then ran to the door, opened the door and ran quickly. Marco ran to Star as fast as he could. Scene cuts to Butterfly Castle where our two teenagers ran. Moon then found the two. River smiles excitedly
Moon: Oh you're here, Star
Star: I've decided...
Moon: I will give my crown to Star Butterfly, to be crowned as queen, And... River!
River: What?
Moon: (softly) Your crown to Marco..
River: What? Marco's becoming King?
Moon: It's time to let the young ones take the crown and reign.
River: That's ridiculous Moon-pie
Moon: You were the king when we were both young.
River: Yes, but that's ridiculous, we can't let some "teenagers rule, besides they aren't even trained.
Eclipsa: Moon, Should I tell him?
Moon: That's our only choice to persuade him.
River: About what?
Moon: Star and Marco are in a relationship
Star: Yes, dad that's true
River: I can't believe it! Marco with Star?
Moon: Yes.
River: Hah, well Marco here you go.
Star and Marco then receives their crown, Marco suddenly wears the crown, Star still looking at the crown in a Concerned/ Nervous look. Eclipsa asks, "Anything wrong, sweetie?". Star just ignores the question, still in deep silence. No one can ask Star bout what she feels about it. That only leaves us with Marco, asked Star, in a deep silence. Suddenly cried in tears of joy, then hugged Marco tightly, stating that she's very happy about her own decision. Eclipsa, River, and Moon smiled at the two due to the fact that they are "in a relationship". (They still can't move on xD).
Star and Marco went home, but before Star could leave, Moon told Star that they're gonna go somewhere to buy for Star and Marco. Star was very happy about her own decision, she's ready for a new fresh start. That part will be continued at the episode "Star's Diary"
