This is also the story of two people finding love thanks to a very mischievous toddler and a series of very...fortunate events?"
So the idea for this story is that Jily is alive (yes, this is going to be a recurring thing with my plots, sue me), Harry has the scar but Voldemort didn't kill James and Lily, thanks to that they could attest that the secret keeper was in fact Peter and not Sirius. You can explore the idea as to why they weren't kill and if you want Peter to be sent to Azkaban or to escape.
The OC is a muggle, she works at a normal store in a muggle town close to where the Potters live, my idea is that she knows about magic because either a sibling of hers is a muggleborn, or maybe an uncle, so she is a little familiar with magic and founds it very interesting. The idea of how all of them meet is when the Potters plus company are having a walk. Harry being the rightful son of The James Potter decides that he would like to walk away from her family and ends up in the OC's shop. She finds him and asks where are his parents, and goes to find them.
Small things that would be cool to add to the plot.
-Harry is a toddler, so he doesn't necessarily know his parents names or Sirius and Remus for that matter, so when she goes out to look for them, she only can ask people if they know any "Padfoot or Moony".
-Harry could also do some sort of accidental magic on the OC, everyone freaking out because she is a muggle and "oh god she just saw our son do magic ON HER" but she just laughs and looks fascinated by it.
-I always picture that Harry likes her a lot, so they go to visit her with him, and she loves that, and at some point, you decide how, she gets fired for her job and the Potters take this opportunity to ask her to babysit Harry, since they were thinking for a while to go and get jobs since the war is "over" and they can actually do that now.
-How her relationship with Sirius and friendship with Lily, James and Remus develops is all up to you guys, but something that id like to see is how being a muggle affects how other people react to them being friends and et cetera, because we know that a lot of wizards find them to be inferior, and people like Sirius's family would be horrified by this.
If you like the idea but want to change the characters you totally can! I would love to see other versions of my ideas. But please always tell me about it!
