Chapter 65: Securing The 'Princess'

It wasn't long until I heard light footsteps echo against the linoleum floor of the public toilet. I stiffened and shifted my gaze to the growing shadow on the ground as I couldn't tell if it was Orion or not.

However, from the panting he made, it was obvious he had been running about in search of me. His ragged breathing coming from the speaker was a hint that gave away the fact that it wasn't him outside the door. I backed away warily, wishing for the person on the other end to either go away or use a different bathroom stall somewhere far away on the other end. 

After all, what about the unspoken bro code? Does it not exist here?

The door beside my bathroom stall creaked eerily in the otherwise silent restroom as I moved to the corner furthest from the other bathroom stall. I stayed quiet, gulping hesitantly as I hoped the person on the other side hurried and finished with his business without realising I was present.
