Chapter 15: Feels Good

It's... going rather differently than expected...

Cain finally allowed me to return to my home. Not like its really mine, but at least that's something.

He had also been rather sweet, which made me feel goosebumps on my skin. Even now... this... this is going a little too differently than the manga.

I stared at my room which originally felt foreign, but now I have no idea what to even make of it. The floor was lined with flower petals, strewn across like a flower parade had just ended.

There were a dozen or so balloons that clung to the ceiling, spelling the words of "just engaged" on them. I raised an eyebrow and ruffled through my hair, sighing at the sight.

Who is engaged? Also... who do you think is going to clean up this mess?! Agh!
