Chapter 41: Chapter 39: According to Plan

I woke up with the worst headache. I tried opening my eyes, but it only made it worst. I blinked a few times to adjust to the light when it finally cleared, I looked around observing my surroundings. I don't I have a clue how long I've been out of it, but I noticed that I was tied up to a chair in the middle of a room, probably in an abandoned factory. How cliché?

I heard footsteps echoing in the hall then the door opened revealing no other than Vanessa. "Oh, look who's awake, did you have a nice nap? Is the chair comfortable enough for you? Are the ropes to tight?" every single question she asked was followed by an even bigger smirk.

I yawned and popped my neck "I did actually, what kind of chair is this? I think I will have to get me one." I said looking directly into her eyes unphased by the predicament I'm in. I knew that wasn't the answer nor reaction she was looking for. She probably expected me to be crying and begging for her to let me go.
