Chapter 20: Turning into a Princess
Came Friday. I am a bit nervous today because it is the first event I am attending with Mr. Xavier. I hope I don't screw up with all the data I tried to load in my head. Mr. Xavier did came in briefly this morning and reminded me that Daniel will be sending me over to Solace after lunch. He soon disappear again with the promise that he will return at 6pm to fetch me to the movie campaign promotion.
Xavier put one hundred and ten percent concentration on Emperor Empire project. Eventually he found out that malls are certainly not his cup of tea but he is still grateful that this project has taken him out of office. He is convince that he will turn into a sexual molester if he continue to stay in the same confine space as Yuki. She don't even know her own feminine charm yet.
Luckily being able to torture Steven brightened up my work at least. Since Emperor Empire was his idea, I let him deal with all the tenancy agreements, brand endorsement up to the tiny details on how to place a bag on the merchandise window. He is at least more familiar with branded goods compare to me considering the number of women that has sleeps in his bed and all the courting gifts and break up gifts he has procured.
I made a call to Alex leaving some instruction for something elegant but not sexy for Yuki this evening. Drastic times call for drastic measures to keep my sanity.
Yuki arrives at Solace after lunch for her fitting. Maybe it's influence from Mr. Xavier, Alex is very efficient too. He already has the hair stylist and makeup artist on standby. I have to remind Alex that I am not used to having powder on my face for fear I would start rubbing my eyes and look like an ugly duckling in the middle of the event. Alex assures me that only minimal makeup will be used since I am so beautiful. Alex always exaggerate.
By the time we are done, I almost couldn't recognise myself in the mirror. Standing there is the most beautiful lady I have ever seen. It can't be me, I pinched my own cheek to check and Awww! it's painful. It is me! I never knew I could look like a princess too. With the right dress and bra, people won't judge my small breast.
Alex exclaimed,"Please don't do that darling, you will spoil the makeup. Now all you have to do is stand straight and walk slowly to be graceful."
I walk out of Solace in a daze. I think I saw Daniel being surprise too. I call Mr. Xavier for further direction on our way back to the office. He told me to wait in the car for me, he will come down and we will go directly to the event.
Xavier has changed himself into a set of black tuxedo. He went down just as the car arrives. He open the door and gave a big smile to Yuki. She looks like an angel with the silvery sleeveless lace embroidered bodice, thin silver waistband and long layered of organza all the way down covering her legs. Modest and elegant. He send a well done message to Alex as he was getting into the car, satisfied with the selection. The makeup has highlight her delicate features and he knows he needs to be ready as many heads will turn tonight.
They chatted for a bit about Steven and Mr. Xavier show displeasure of her talking to the operation director. She found it odd as their conversation didn't last more than 20minutes. She guess she just need to follow her boss direction.
