Chapter 121: Put off the fire

"Never thought that I will see the day that my brother would be splattered all over the gossip columns." Melissa walked to his office, dumping a tablet on his lap, and sat beside him on his couch. 

He was taking a break from the heavy morning he just had. Leaving Sabrina's apartment proved to be tricky. He had to find a way to avoid the press and the paparazzi that were hiding in unlikely places. He had not experienced something like that before. 

"What's this?" He held the object in his hand and watched the screen as it played news about him.

Early this morning, his identity was still just a name, a young man running a big company. Now, they had started digging deeper. Much news about his career in the surfing world was resurfacing. 

Jessica was right, he had to be ready for more of his private life to become public knowledge. Because dealing with the media would not be easy. They were unrelenting and people could be judgmental.
