Chapter 52: Punishment

Ryan stepped back, slowly. His eyes gradually lowered to the ground. His hands fell to his sides. 

"Rhea, let's go back. You're drunk," his voice hit the base. 

"I've told you. I won't drink when you are not around," she blabbered frowning. 

"Yes, you did. In fact, I can't ask you to do that. I have... no right over you," his eyes once again met with hers. He hesitantly finished what he started, "You can do whatever you want to. But make sure you're safe. That's all I care about," he finished. 

Rhea's gaze changed listening to his words. Her eyes pierced him trying to understand what he was talking about. Confusedly, she stepped forward, "But I've already promised you," her nose slightly crunched in anger. "You were the one who asked for it," she took another quick step in his direction.
