Chapter 105: Suffering

More than anything in this life, I wanted to understand the person dear to me. More than anything else in my life, I wanted the person I loved to be happy. Family was everything to me. Midori became my family. But with her, I also remembered my mother.

I was surprised that it was my mother that I remembered. Although the memory didn't want to come back that easily. I remembered my mother at night when I was sitting on the balcony looking at the stars. I remembered her face. She had a very beautiful face. And then, I wanted to know if she was alive. But to find out, I had to see it.

That night I met a guy named Leon.

I knew he was still here. So when I saw him in one of the cafes where he often sat looking out the window, I approached him. I didn't know how to act around him. But I knew that my actions were hurting him. Maybe I had broken his heart. And so I started with these words, "Forgive me."
