Chapter 405: Hera’s Proposition [2]

The Rykov siblings had long made a name for themselves in the mercenary business and theft business but no one would have ever thought that they would be in a room somewhere among the wolves, trying to find a way to broker peace.

Anyone would have thought it was a stupid idea and maybe it was, but what made it even more fun, was the hopelessness in Mikhail's face. He looked like he was enduring torture, the kind that even he wouldn't have been able to escape.

On the other hand, however, his little sister looked like she had gotten new butterflies for her collection. That would have been beautiful but Hera knew nothing of the flowery aspect of life.

For her, a win was either the end of a battle in a war, or a win meant she would always get to eat her favorite food,  cinnamon rolls. And yet somehow she was here too, brainstorming like a fool on an errand of failure.
