Chapter 284: No...Not Today...Not Him

The day that followed was something that no words would ever be able to describe. 

The air seemed fresher, the birds happier, the environment calmer, and it even felt like the security had been vamped. It was a unique sense of belonging that only the werewolves of Alexei could relate to.

They had waited for such a day, the day when they would eventually be bound as one—the day when they were never scared of anything. Alexei had waited for years and years on end, and now that it was here, now that they were actually living the dream, they were excited. Everyone felt a calming sense of relief that they hadn't ever felt.

It was beautiful. 

The children had not gone to school today because who would even go to school with all the adrenaline? The women and men were waiting for their rulers to show their faces. The warriors were waiting for the first command by the mated couple, and even Darius was waiting.
