"what's happening here," Carl asked as Mikhail stood between the beta and his sister. He knew the sensitivity of the matter and would probably make them do things they would regret, when he was sure Carl wouldn't do shit to her, he nodded at Hera.

"Carl, Zeynep really is the falci. It's been speculation, but with Camille confirming it, we need to be careful. Her initial intention was to ruin Angelo because he was the closest thing to me since Mikhail, well he is the devil himself, so it was almost impossible to kill him.

Well, he can't anyway." Hera dragged as if buying herself time.

How was she supposed to rip off the band-aid on such a trivial matter?

She was already feeling terrible for having kept it for so long but she had always hoped there would; be more time.

Carl was smart.
