Chapter 152: Comrads

"Well, there have been several lives lost over the past week and more wouldn't be the appropriate call. I know the rest of the team has to deal with the chaos, but they will be fine anyway" Carl tried to reason with Mikhail.

The boy in a man's body was hiding something. He didn't want to face their reality and that could explain why he was being silly. He had never known much about Mikhail, but Carl could tell if someone was hiding something.

He had gotten used to such shit living with Angelo. The times when Angelo would come home stressed after taking someone's life and he wasn't sure of how he felt about all that but maybe they would manage all this later. They had a lot to do anyway.

Mikhail looked at the collection of motorbikes parked on the front porch. He was amazed at how beautiful the collection was. These were million-dollar bikes and they were paraded here like they didn't mean shit.
