Turning to Darius, Angelo wondered what the warrior was doing following him. He would have been handling the race tracks, which were active at this time of the day yet he was here tailing his alpha.

Was he a spy?

And even so, for who?

Or maybe he was working for the rebels who had murdered his parents. At that Angelo looked like he was ready to kill, but he couldn't do it right here.

Or maybe he would and he would still get away with it because he didn't care what people thought. He knew the world was no good place for anyone, but having someone spy on him, was a dick move.

Darius understood what his alpha was thinking and if he was offended by it, he couldn't show it, because how else was he supposed to explain tailing the werewolf king and his beta when they were on a mission?
