I am Thomas Bay, seventeen years old boy who lives with my parents, two older brothers and a ten year old sister. I loved walking with my two best friends Neil and Andy.
We mostly walked in the night, but I stopped after I experienced something awful. As three teenagers we liked to sneak away from our houses and go somewhere where our parents or anyone we know cannot find us.
Our parents always told us: "Don't speak to strangers!", and many other stuff that we all teenagers listen to at least twice in our lives.
We were out that one night, chatting and having fun like we always do.
"Thomas!" - Says Neil.
"Long time no see bro..." - Says Andy jokingly.
"Yeah, you two. At least give me a sign before scaring me. I almost had a heart attack yesterday."
"I didn't think you would be that scared. I didn't expect you to fall like that!" - Says Andy while patting Thomas's back.
"Umm, guys is there someone in the back of that house?" -Neil questioning his eyes.
"I can see it too!" - Andy agrees and pokes Thomas that is looking on his phone.
"Who the hell? Oh. Guys I think we should go?!" -Thomas opens the flash on his phone, but the person vanishes.
"I'm not even joking, there was someone standing and looking at us!" - Neil's voice starts to shake.
"Shall we investigate or stay here?!" -Andy smirks at them.
"We can go for twenty steps and then thirty,if something happens we run!" -Says Neil sighing at Andy's comment.
"Sure, I am in. But we really shouldn't do this..." -Thomas is suspicious about the person they saw before.
"I am counting the steps...Okay one, one and a half..." -Andy's voice is shaking a little. As the boys slowly take one step after another, the makes appearance.
They don't stop, but continue walking toward him or her. Andy counts to twenty, and they stop.
Then Neil comments: "Guys I am 100% sure, that the person is walking toward us."
"Ah, let's continue maybe it's a homeless person who needs food?" -Andy proudly says and Thomas nods.
After Andy continues to count the person stops and looks up the sky and smiles. They all stop and go back a little. They hide behind a trash can, and watch the mysterious person. Thomas pokes Neil and then Neil steps on Andy's leg.
"Omg guys look at the floor! It's covered in blood." -Thomas whispers to them. All three of them look shocked and disgusted.
They didn't move a muscle.
The same person is still looking at the sky.
This time they hear a laugh. The laugh makes everything even more scarier. The laughter was echoed through the whole neighbourhood. It seemed like ten or more people are laughing. The laugh wasn't normal, and it wasn't the same laugh. The boys looked disturbed. All of the sudden everything stops and they no longer can see the person.
"THE PERSON VANISHED!" -Andy yells as Thomas punches him on the arm.
"Keep it down you fool!" -Thomas angrily looks at Andy while Neil sighs out of disappointment.
"By the way guys, I think it's a she, look nowat the hair." - Neil whispers.
The woman turns her head towards the boys as she stars laughing crazily. As the boys saw her head turn they became too scared. She starts walking towards them as she peeled the skin with her long fingernails. The blood was bursting everywhere. The boys look in a shock, no one of them was moving. As the woman was slowly coming to them Thomas snapped out of it and hit Neil on the arm and Andy at the leg. They started running and running.
No one was talking, they had no air left. Three of them looked behind as the woman got on her back, while the head was looking up to them, her back was broken as well her legs. She looked like a demon. She was laughing and laughing. As they got to Neil's house, the key was behind a vase. Neil opened the door and closed it very fast. The woman was knocking on the door, as the boys were breathing heavily. Thomas looked at the window and she was nowhere to be found.
"KE KE KE, I will be waiting in the dark!" - A weird mutated voice says to them. It was a voice between a child, a woman and a man.
Somewhere between. It was scary to them. No one ever heard anything no matter how many people the three of them asked. No one saw anything.
"It was a peaceful night as always!" - Thomas's mother added. They were sceptical.
As they were dreaming.
Until one day they saw the same woman again.
Behind the darkness.
There she was, lurking, smiling and laughing.
Covered in blood.
Alone.
