Chapter 202: Superb Witchcraft

"Ready to take her, boys!" Spade yelled.

Serenica drummed her fingers on the gunwale. Waiting always made her nervous. Not that she wasn't nervous anyway, it just felt a lot worse with the Maroon King breathing at the back of her neck.

The smuggler crew was prepared, and a few well aimed shots flew past the pirates, but no one was hurt, and the horror of the enemy got more and more obvious from their faces with every passing second.

The pirates jumped aboard the smuggler. At first, it looked like an ordinary day on the high seas.

Then the griffins came.

Serenica spotted them flying towards them first, which was funny since she was the only person with only one functional eye. She screamed a warning to her men. Things would soon get a lot less funny.

"Griffins! FROM THE SKY!"
