Lena exhaled slowly as she leaned her forehead against the cool opaque tiles of the onsuite shower.
Tonight was supposed to help her feel better. Instead, the mixture of emotions only built up further to an almost boiling-over point.
The warm water cascading down her back did little to ease the internal turmoil.
What should have been a well-deserved shower to help clear her head was the exact opposite.
Every time the princess closed her eyes, the memories of Samuel's warm breath against her ear and his scent, rich vanilla mixed with chestnut, consumed her senses. Fuck... those weren't the things that she should have been recalling at the current moment in time. His questions were what she was supposed to figure out the answer to. Instead, her brain and body decided to play tug-of-war with each other. Her primal desire pushed against her attempt to focus on rational thoughts.

DameButterfly Currently getting over a cold because the weather is contrary and hateful here.
If it's going to be miserably cold, there should at least be some snow to make it more enjoyable.
Not making any promises but I am going to try and publish 2 chapters/week.
Once I have a proper stockpile, I may consider increasing that number to wrap the book up sooner.
