Chapter 50: ᴛᴇɴᴛʜ.
"Raina.." He groaned her name once they finally reached the climax. She has been granted a month of vacation to visit her parents in the human world and now, she just infiltrated heaven just to commit adultery with the person she truly loves.
As a human, it was unavoidable to commit mortal sins but doing it inside the heaven, it was already their choice. Right after the deed, she automatically got pregnant. It will only take her a week to give birth to their son. Ichirou prepared everything that she would need and the expected week passed by quickly. They knew that it was wrong but both of them were madly in love with each other.
"Icchan~" She called her son who was already three years old. A big smile was on the little one's lips as he walked towards his mother. She peppered his face with tiny kisses when he was able to walk without falling on his feet.
"What are you doing?!" She asked when the angels suddenly grabbed Little Itsuki away from her. Another group of angels arrived and she dragged her outside the heaven's gates. She saw Ichirou kneeling behind the gates, bleeding as there were lots of wounds and cuts all over his body and face.
"You committed a mortal sin inside heaven and it was punishable. Ichirou decided to take responsibility and all we can do is forbid you from seeing him and your child." The deity said and she started crying. She tried once more to hug Little Itsuki but the angels brought him back inside as they brought Ichirou back to the dungeon.
"Ichirou! Itsuki!" She screamed while trying to open the gates. She already had enough suffering when the demon king forcefully married her and made her the queen of the underworld. Though she still has the twins, they were not really her love children. Itsuki is the only love child that she will acknowledge.
The only thing she could do that time was to go back to the underworld. She tried to focus on her twins but she couldn't help but to worry about her youngest son. Reiki and Riku turned five and it was also the start of their training as the heirs of the underworld. She accepted everything her husband did to her and she couldn't complain about it anymore because she felt like she was already lifeless when they took Ichirou and Itsuki away from her. She watched the twins train with the wooden swords.
"Both of you did well." She smiled at them, handing the towels for them to wipe their sweat. She asked the servants to get glasses of water for them and then, the twins obediently followed their mother's order to drink water.
"Okaa-san, I heard the guards talking ill about you." Little Riku said when he finished the glass of water. He pouted and then, she smiled faintly before leaving a kiss on his forehead. She also did the same to Little Reiki.
"Don't mind them. All I know is I love both of you so much." She chuckled softly as she hugged the twins. The servant told them that the king was asking for their presence, so after the twins changed their clothes, they went to the kingdom's hall.
"We will go to the human world later. It will be better for them to experience life there. It will also serve as a training as they would find their future wives soon." The king said and the twins were excited for it.
"I heard from someone that you went to heaven." The king said when they were alone in their bedchamber. Her whole body trembled but she did her best to deny all the accusations. It was not yet the right time to accept the consequences.
"Why would I do that? I'm the queen of the underworld. Going there means declaring a war against the angels. I would never do that. I would never bring harm to our children." She tried to convince and she was thankful that he believed her.
It didn't take long for them to settle in the human world. Everything was already prepared when they arrived at their new home. Staying there means that the twin's growth will be slowed down. The married couple decided to enroll them in two preschools since one of them was not accepting twins. She bit her lips lightly when she realized that the little girl Riku met that time was the newborn baby she saw that night after the small festival.
"Okaa-san, she is Gia. She is my new friend and classmate." Little Riku said with a big toothy smile and she ruffled his hair gently before introducing herself to Little Gia as the twins' mother. Little Reiki also introduced himself and then, they went home already since their father was waiting for them.
"Do you like her?" She asked Little Riku and he nodded his head vigorously. She chuckled softly as she proceeded to the kitchen to make dinner. Little Reiki peeked from the living room and watched his mother do everything.
"Okaa-san.." He called for her, feeling shy to share what he did at the preschool. She stopped from chopping the vegetables and looked at him. He pouted a little and then, he ran towards her to hug her.
"What's wrong, my Reiki?" She asked softly as she put the knife down. She rinsed her hands and then, she dried it before carrying him in her arms. He buried his face on her shoulder while hugging her.
"Did something happen?" She asked once again and he slowly nodded his head. She smiled gently and carefully placed him down on the kitchen counter before kissing his forehead. He looked at her and hesitated, thinking if he should tell her about it.
"I.. have a classmate named.. Ayami. She is.. cute." He shyly said and she smiled at him. She kissed his forehead once again and he blushed at the thought of playing with his classmate tomorrow.
"Okaa-san, when she removed her hat, I saw that she had no hair. They said that she is sick and she will go back to the hospital next week." He added and she stopped for a while. She was thinking about how she would explain to him about the little girl's sickness.
"Play with her again tomorrow and make her smile. I know you can do it." She ruffled his hair and he nodded his head while smiling widely. She cupped his cheeks and showered his face with tiny kisses, making the little one laugh.
