Chapter 18: sɪxᴛʜ.
"I need to see Hokuto! He's hurt! Let me go!" Fuyu shouted at the servants but the doors went open and Sho walked in the chamber.
He ordered the servants to get out and they quickly followed. They closed the doors and he caught her in his arms, pushing her down the bed. He was trying to be more patient for her but she's driving him to the edge. She struggled from his grip until he decided to cover her mouth with his hand. He leaned closer to her chest and whispered something to her heart. Her eyes widened as she slowly stopped from moving.
"You're mine now." He whispered to her ear and she nodded. Her gaze softened and her grip became a hug.
The spell will last for a few hundreds of years and perhaps, it might not be enough for him. He's greedy after all. He let her go and he cupped her cheeks to kiss her forehead. Tears fell from her eyes. Maybe, those will be the last she will shed for Hokuto. He wiped it gently and kissed her lips after. She hummed softly and he broke the kiss. She noticed the small cut on the corner of his lips and she carefully touched it with her fingertip.
"Does it hurt?" She asked in a soft but worried voice and he shook his head. He wished for this to happen last thousand years ago but it didn't happen. Now, he decided to cast the spell on her.
He can't let her go anymore. He needs her by his side. He got her hand and nuzzled his cheek against her palm. It's warm and comfortable. He closed his eyes to feel it more but she gently pulled it back. He felt her hug instead. He took a deep breath and hugged her back. He waited too long for this to happen.
"Would you like to see your father?" He asked but she shook her head. She released herself from the hug and started removing her gown.
She never surrendered herself to him and it will be the first time. She took her jewellery off and untied her long hair, letting it fall on her back. Her hands reached for his clothes and took it off. For the first time, they made love. Even though it is unreal. His usual rough and painful thrusts became gentle and slow ones. She dug her nails on his skin and it left scratches on his bare back. She called for him while accepting every touch he was giving to her.
"Sho.." She moaned between her heavy breaths and he leaned down to kiss her deep. She kissed him back softly and wrapped her arms around his nape.
He wants another child with her. He saw her smiling when he finally filled her with his seeds. It is her first time to smile at him. He placed another kiss on her forehead and let her take a rest. She snuggled him and rested her head on his chest. They looked like a loving couple but it was unreal.
On the other hand, the king held the guardian's hair tightly and looked at his face with a smirk. He is ruthless. Itsuki spat some blood and grinned at him. As long as the queen is safe in heaven, there is nothing to worry about. Riku got the black and gold dagger that killed Itsuki before. He pressed the edge on the crook of his neck but before he could slit his throat, they heard someone from afar.
"Stop that! Don't kill him!" It's the queen. She is wearing a red and gold velvet long gown. Her wings are black instead of white. It looks like something triggered her demonic powers.
She flew towards them but before she could even reach for Itsuki, an unknown creature caught her and they disappeared in a snap. Their eyes widened when they saw a glimpse of that unknown creature. It has both white and black wings. Riku felt how powerful it was. Itsuki pushed him away and tried to chase the unknown creature but it was already gone.
"Gia!" He screamed but it just echoed. They all didn't know that there's another one who will dare to take the queen away from the king.
"We need to find her!" Riku shouted and everyone stopped for a while. They all witnessed what happened and even Yuuki decided to stop and go back to the underworld and tell everything to his father.
The war between the angels and demons temporarily ceased. A part of the human world is saved and it gives humans a chance to be better. A group of guardians went back to the human world and helped them in recovering from the disaster. Riku and Yuuki went back to the underworld while a group of spawns brought Kenta's dead body back to burn it and place his urn in the gallery of the undead. His children are already informed that their father was killed by a deity.
"The queen has been captured?" Sho asked and Yuuki nodded. Fuyu looked at her son worriedly when she noticed the small bruises on his face and body.
"Are you hurt?" She asked her son but he just shook his head and hugged his mother. She looked at the king and glared at him.
"Where's my mother?!" She gritted her teeth while intensely glaring at him. Riku sat on his throne and stared at the empty space besides him.
"I don't know. I will bring her back here soon." He mumbled and they all know how much hatred she and her mother got for the king.
"Wherever she is right now, I hope she is safe and will not want to go back here." She said and Sho wrapped his arm around her waist, squeezing her side gently to stop her.
