Chapter 3: Chapter 2: Dinner
I got home and went straight to my room so I could shower and get dressed. I couldn't stop thinking about Paul but I knew I would get hurt so the only way I could stop that from happening is to be a complete bitch to him and tick him off as much as I could. But who knows if I'll ever see him again but I doubt it.
I got out of the shower wrapped my hair and body in a towel and walked to my closet. I decided I was going to wear a red and black flannel with a black crop top under that only went up a little above my jeans so nothing to short, then grabbed a pair of loose fitting light ripped jeans. The jeans fit my waist and thighs nicely and then the rest of the bottoms were lose.
Before we went I decided it was time for a hair cut so I cut my hair to where it went under my breasts and it looked good. I put on some mascara and lip gloss then walked down stairs to go put on my red vans.
"When did you cut your hair?" My mom asked.
"Oh like 5 minutes ago I thought it was time for a hair cut you know?" I smiled.
"Yeah it looks good." She smiled.
"Thanks you momma." I said grabbing my phone and putting it in my back pocket.
"Are you guys ready to go?" My dad asked.
Me and my mom both shook our heads in agreement.
"Can I bring Apollo?" I asked before we walked out the door.
"Sure I don't think they will mind." My dad said.
I grabbed Apollo's leash and called for him. He ran to me and sat down, I clipped on his leash and we walked outside to the truck. Me and Apollo sat in the bed of the truck so we could feel the wind when we drove. It took us about 10 minutes to get to the house. It was a two story little house but it was very homie and cozy I liked it a lot.
Me and Apollo jumped off from the bed of the truck and followed my mom and dad to do the door. Where they knocked and the door was answered by a lady with three claw scares across her face I didn't stare because I knew it was rude. She had short black hair with bangs and had russet skin.
"Hey Emily." My mom said hugging her.
"Hey Rose." She smiled and hugged my mom back.
My dad hugged her to and then turned to introduce me.
"This is Maddie but she has many nicknames." My dad said laughing.
"Nice to meet you I'm Emily." She stuck out her hand for me to shake.
"It's nice to meet you to." I smiled and shook her hand.
"And who is this cutie pie?" She said sounding like she was talking to a baby. She bent down to pet Apollo and Apollo licked her face and hands.
"This is Apollo." I smiled.
"I like it, you can take off his leash if you want we don't mind." She smiled.
I did as she said of course Apollo stayed by my side. We walked in and there was a table filled with food like she was feeling 100 people. I then heard guys yelling in the living room at the football game. So me being curious and loving football I walked to the living room and looked around the room it was all the guys from the beach. I just stood in the way back so they wouldn't notice me yet. After like five minutes a flag was thrown on the play and I ragged because it was a stupid call.
All the guys jumped and glared at me.
"What?" I asked throwing my hands up.
"What are you doing here?" Jake asked.
"I was told I was invited for a dinner." I said blankly.
"Oh shoot your the girl Emily was talking about to Sam." Jared explained.
"I am?" I questioned.
"Yeah Emily said she was having old friends come over that they just moved back from California." Sam explained.
"Oh well then yes I guess I'm that girl." I laughed.
All the guys laughed along except Paul. He was still watching the game.
"What cat got your tongue?" I giggle looking at Paul.
He shot his head to look at me but he never looked me in the eyes.
"I see your still being a bitch." He smirked.
I swear I was going to punch the living lights out of that kid.
"It was just a joke I guess Mr. Hothead can't take a joke." I spat back at him glaring at him.
"I guess Emily was right you are a hothead." He spat back.
"I am not a hothead I just have no toleration for dumbasses." I blurted.
I was about to jump and start beating the shit out of him when I felt someone grab my waist and pull me back into the kitchen.
"Don't worry about Paul he just has a temper." Sam stated.
"I can see that." I murmured.
"I see you have one to your just like Paul you guys could be twins." He laughed.
"Sure I guess I have a little temper, but if we were twins I would be the better looking one." I laughed calming down.
"Come on everyone it's time to eat." Emily yelled for the boys.
Everyone came running in the kitchen and sat down. I sat next to Jacob and Sam, I have a big apatite lately and I was really hungry so I got a lot of food. Everyone was staring at me.
"What?" I questioned.
"How can you eat all that and look like that." Jared joked.
"Because I workout constantly, go on lots of runs, have a fast metabolism, and play a lot of sports." I smiled.
"Wait you like to workout?" Paul looked at me surprised.
"Yeah of course I do how do you think I got to look like this." I laughed not looking at him.
"Well maybe we could workout or go on a run together?" He smiled.
I still didn't look up at his I just saw him from my preferal vision.
"I don't know I'll think about it." I smirked.
He just looked back down at his food and ate not talking for the rest of the night.
Everyone was catching up on everything and so one. I just commented here and there nothing to big. I finished my whole plate and decided their conversations were boring and that I was going to go take Apollo out for a walk.
"I'm going to take Apollo out he is getting ancy." I said walking out from the kitchen where I had washed my plate and put it away.
"Ok be careful." My mom said.
Apollo and I walked out the door and onto a trail on the edge of the woods. We walked this trail for a while till I felt someone following me. I knew who it was so it didn't surprise me.
I stopped dead in my tracks and faced the way I was walking.
