[3] 3 Years Later...
"Good then let me go shower then we can get started." I smiled and got out of her embrace walking to the bathroom, I was using detection magic the entire time to see if she was speaking the truth. She was so far so I was going to trust her until I couldn't anymore, if she was able to help me out then later when I used my mother Immortality spell then maybe she could get it too.
After then shower I waited for her to go get her important documents before we left, we caught a taxi heading for the government building to register me as her son. It didn't take long to get there but the process was longer than I expected since we had to do a DNA test and other things, I wasn't to strong but at least I could change that little aspect about myself.
When there was a 100% match we left with my new identity, I still kept my name the only thing that changed was that I was now a citizen of London, when we walked out I looked at the sky and smiled, "Don't worry mom I will get back to you or get you back one day."
Cindy smiled and ruffled my hair making it look wild but with my looks it was still made me look adorable/handsome. "Well now that we have you registered, sorry to say but now you have to attend school."
I froze in place and the smile that was on my face started to twitch, "What do you mean by that exactly?"
"Ahh well it is the law you have to go to school. Primary school to be exact, if you are smart enough you can finish early but until you can pass through all levels of school you are stuck." She said with a smile but it seemed like it was one of pity rather than her being happy, "Anyway since I now have to be a respectable mother then lets go to my place, I have a flat in the city. After that we will get you tested to see what grade you will be in."
The only thought that went through my head at the moment was that this was a bad idea and we should go back inside so I can have a re-due.
A Year Later
Well the year went by quick and I thought that since I spent so much time with my mother that I would be a genius compared to others, but that was just not true I ended up just hardly passing into school. Once I found that out my ego took a huge hit and Cindy laughed her butt off making fun of me, we now stayed in her flat in the city.
Funny thing there she was never a worker of the night but a pimp of sorts and she was just staying at that motel to watch out for her other girls, after settling them she moved here with me. The flat was fancy as could be and was a three bedroom two bath, she got it from her father who apparently works doing something in the government but she doesn't know what.
Ignoring that though the year was rough, after learning how behind I was we bought every book from primary to secondary school that I would learn from. During summer breaks I would try my hardest to learn all I could, it didn't stop there either we hired tutors that taught me from basic math to learning the piano. Cindy said it would be good if I was an all around genius and I went along with it for her.
After a couple of months of work I was secondary level but I capped there seeing as my brain just couldn't keep up with everything that I needed to learn and memorize. That is when I took a break, the only tutors that came for the rest of the year was for piano, calligraphy, guitar, singing etc. It was tough work but I managed to learn a lot in half a year.
"Well that wasn't so hard was it?" Cindy asked taking a seat next to me on the couch after my piano teacher left for the day.
"Speak for yourself, the only thing you are learning is more language's while I take over six classes a day sometimes more on weekends." I complained laying on my stomach.
"True, well for a soon to be CEO I need to know these things right. Speaking of when are you going to start setting up that company you wanted?" She asked eating on an orange she grabbed from the bowl.
"Well it will take longer than I thought probably around the time I finish med school or sometime after, it just depends. Is the other room ready yet?" I asked looking up.
"Yeah while you were in that lesson they finished, come on." she said getting up and pulling me along while leading me to the now empty third bedroom.
It was about the size of a three car garage, that is how big this flat was, it was also the place I was setting up my mothers stuff and my new research lab. Looking around it would just fit everything I needed, the only reason I couldn't do everything I wanted was because I had been putting off setting this up until we were completely settled, now that we were it was time to start.
Reaching into my pendant I took out some chalk that could set up the ruins without me having to carve them into the house, not that it mattered but this was the quickest way to do it. Walking inside I started setting up the big formation on the ground, this was the first thing my mom taught me before I started learning any other magic. This would set up a defense for the room while also hiding everything inside to someone who didn't have the Le Fay blood in them.
After it was set I let everything pour out of the necklace and it all went into different directions according to how I wanted it, now on the east wall was a book shelf full of my moms journals. This was her life work, most was incomplete but I would finish or even improve on what she started, I didn't want to admit it but this world was more advance than ours so it would be helpful in learning spells.
"I feel like you did something but I am not seeing it, why did you refurnish the room, couldn't I have just left the other stuff?" Cindy said looking at whatever her vision was showing her.
"Ahh no this is all my moms equipment, without the Le Fay blood you won't be able to see any of it. My mom did it this way so that no one could still all of her stuff." I explained and I saw a flash of hurt go across her eyes but she was still smiling. Sure we got closer over this year but it wasn't to the point that I was going to come out and give myself someone who can betray me access to some of the most advanced spells in this world.
A Year Later....
Well this year was better or worse in some ways, I guess it all just depends on how you look at the outcome and who you are as a person. While looking through my mothers books I found a potion that would enhance my memory and thinking, but the plants needed were way to hard to find luckily we did over the course of eight months. Before then it was more suffering of school.
I tested out of Primary school and enter Secondary, lucky me right? Wrong this just made things worse before I got my hands on that potion I was stuck in first year after it and it made me want to claw my eyes out. What is worse is that I had to suffer even after the eight month period because it took me three months to make the actual potion after I was able to make it.
When it finished it was a blueish green color like the book described, this thing also cost us almost all the money we saved in the past two years, we had started investing but didn't have much. I was able to fill three bottles worth, they were each 12 FL. OZ. each, I took one immediately just to check the effects, my head went into a mind numbing headache.
It was so bad that I blacked out and didn't wake up for two days, Cindy was going to take me to the hospital but remembering my words she didn't in case they asked what I took and could answer. When I woke up though I felt the effects immediately, it was so clear that I remembered my own birth and I quickly blocked that out, seeing as it worked I gave the other to Cindy who didn't hesitate to drink it either.
While she slept I kept on with my tutoring and with my enhanced memory things became so much easier, at the early age of twelve I could no compare or was better than that playboy genius Tony Stark. Though he focused more on technology while I was going for someone who was a master of everything, why limit myself when I could be a master at everything.
When Cindy woke up she looked refreshed and started her business school lessons, she was going to be the CEO when the time came so she needed more than the little knowledge she had now.
A Year Later.....
This year was something that wasn't as harsh as the other two in this one I was finally able to graduate at thirteen, but I didn't go off to university yet, not that it wasn't the right time but I needed to study more. While during my breaks I went through my moms journal and found the immortality spell she had created but there were a lot of holes looking at it.
The first and major being the fact that my magic would never increase after it was preformed, my body would essentially be dead and in a state that never changed. This happened because my mom didn't know enough about the human body so she made it where her body wouldn't decay, but the only thing that grew was her mind while her body was suspended in time.
It also touched on the magic of time which was something way over my head, my mother by twenty was already stronger than gods, or that is what she told me so I knew not to mess with it. After searching more I realized if I wanted to do this then I needed to take her thoughts but change the and find a replacement for the time element in her magic, it also was about three thousand runes I needed to include.
Setting it down I thought about something else, lately I have been feeling this chaotic energy that is to the East but it is dormant so I can never actually get a feel on it. With my mind enhanced I was able to invest properly and we made enough to buy the ingredients needed for the body enhancing potion, this was something that I did at the begging of the year before I turned thirteen or I would have missed the mark.
My magic core also grew it use to be the size of a marble but now it was the size of a tennis ball, that is why my senses grew and I could feel it but since it was dormant I couldn't find it. Ignoring that for now I looked down at the last thing I needed to to for the year before I set off to college, it was time to set up the company I learned enough chemistry to be able to make this.
That was actually my easiest subject seeing as it was just another form of alchemy and I was able to make medicine, skin care, and aging cream that was safe to use in production. Other than setting up a giant factory I enchanted the equipment in my work room to bottle and contain everything and it all boxed itself up, the only thing we had to hire for was the drivers for delivery.
It was all approved after testing, Cindy came home with the patents and we got to work on finding a store, no point in using others when we could just sell it ourselves. It took some months but it finally did take off, hence me being home alone while Cindy was currently at our new office building running the place and making deals with hospitals and other countries that wanted our products.
