Chapter 9

The exams were finally over and Today is the day they would get their results. Every student was gathering near the board to see their result. Rome pushed pass the students and looked at the sheet of paper, a wide smile grew on his face, he had ranked 1st.

Rome went to Manry who was sitting in the corner, handing the students this score cards, he took the card as she praised,"Very Good Rome~ you placed first rank, hope you continue the hard work." Rome smiled,"I will ma'am."

Rome went and sat on his seat. Ray followed him and sat infront of him,"Rome congrats, you got 1st place."

Rome grinned,"Thanks Ray, to be honest, I was surprised that I got 1st place."

Ray ruffled his hair,"I knew you would get top score, after all you studied all day."

Rome loved it when Ray touched his head but he didn't want to entertain the idea so he asked,"What did you score?"

Ray pulled his hand back and chuckled awkwardly,"I passed all the tests but my score is low." Hearing this Rome frowned,"You know passing is not the problem here, you should get nice marks so that you can get into nice university."

Ray said,"I know sorry. But what can I do? I don't like to study."

Rome clicked his tongue,"Nobody does Ray. From today onwards you are coming to my house everyday and I am gonna tutor you so that you can score nice marks in the test that will take place three months from now." Ray nodded,"Okay I promise I will come everyday and I will get nice marks in the next test. I am sure If I learn from you, I will become good at studying."

Rome was going to say something when a voice said,"Hi Rome, Hi Ray." Ray and Rome shot their heads towards the voice to see Tony coming towards them. They greeteed together,"Hello Tony~"

Tony smiled as he sat down besides Rome,"Look Rome I got second place." Rome smiled,"Yeah I know. Congratualtions." Tony said,"It's all thanks to you. Because you tutored me for weeks before exams." Rome shook his head,"It's all because of your hard work."

Tony looked at Ray then asked,"Anyway what were you guys talking about?"

Ray said,"Rome offered to tutor me everyday so that I can improve my marks." Rome added,"Yeah starting from today every evening I am gonna tutor him."

Tony looked at the guys before asking,"If It's not too much of a bother, Can I join you?"

Rome scolded,"Why would it be bother? You can come if you want to. Stop asking for god's sake."

Ray felt a strange feeling in his heart, he thought he would get to spend time with Rome alone but Rome invited Tony too and He couldn't say anything because he didn't want to repeat the same mistake he made few weeks ago.

Ray was upset but smiled when he saw Lacy coming,"Hi Ray." Ray wrapped his arms around her waist,"Hi sweetie."

Lacy said,"Ray baby are you free today? My parents are not home today so if you want, you can come over~" Ray grinned,"Of course sweetie I would love to come over."

Ray then looked at Rome,"Hey Rome, we will study from tomorrow." Before Rome could say something Lacy hugged Ray and said,"My parents are not at home for 10 days s if you want you can stay for a week." Ray hugged her back,"I would love to stay over. Rome we will study from next week after all girlfriend comes first."

Hearing this Rome's heart sank, he was very upset, he wanted to cry, Ray just broke his promise to him. Tony noticed Rome was sad so he placed a comforting hand on Rome's shoulder. Tony whispered,"Do you want to go now?" Rome nodded,"Please...."

Tony took Rome's hand and dragged him out of the classroom. Today they did not have any lectures as teachers will be giving them report cards so they were free to leave whenever they want.

Rome didn't even realise that they were not going to his place as he was busy controlling his tears. After a few minutes of walk, they arrived at a bunglow, Tony said,"We are here." This took Rome out of his trance,"Where are we?"

Tony said,"We are at my place, I wanted to grab some books before going to your place. Come in." They both entered the house and Rome sat on the couch in the living room, looking at his surroundings. Tony bought him a glass of water,"Here drink this first."

Rome took the glass and drank a few sips. Tony said,"You can cry now."

Rome stared at Tony,"Huh?"

Tony sighed,"You like Ray, right? And you feel like crying right now. So I am telling you, you can cry now, nobody will disturb you, helding it in all in would be bad for your health."

Rome was dumbfounded would be an understatement,"How? How do you know all his."

Tony said,"I noticed it a long time ago, the way you look at him is different."

Rome closed his eyes as tears rolled down his cheeks as he asked,"You don't have a problem with it?" Tony frowned,"By what?"

Rome said,"I like Ray, who is a guy, don't you find it disgusting like those other people." Tony flicked his head,"Are you stupid? Why would I find it disgusting? There is nothing wrong with loving someone. Love is Love regardless of gender."

Now Rome was bawling his eyes out, he hugged Tony not minding how he was making the other's shirt wet with tears, he just cried and cried.

After crying for a while did Rome stop, he pulled back and looked at the mess he made on Tony's shirt,"I am sorry."

Tony smiled softly,"There is no need for you to be sorry."

Rome muttered,"Thankyou."

Tony just ruffled his hair,"Now then let's go." Rome looked up, confused,"Where?" Tony got up from the couch,"To your place, don't tell me you forgot that you invited me and promised to teach me, Rome breaking a promise is bad manners."

Rome chuckled,"Sorry, I forgot. Let's go then."

Tony said,"Wait a minute for me, let me change my shirt and grab some books first." Rome nodded.

After a few minutes, Rome and Tony arrived at the formal's house. They both sat down in the living room.

Rome stated fidgeting with his fingers,"Tony please don't tell Ray about my feelings." Tony smiled,"I won't promise."

Hearing this Rome smiled brightly and hugged Tony who hugged him back, they both started chuckling, little did they know someone saw them hugging each other.
