Chapter 58: The last Check
Cross woke up the next morning and stretched his arms before kissing Luna, who was laying down on his chest, naked and tired.
Luna woke up and mumbled "I do!" before falling back down and drooling, Cross smiled lovingly and whispered "You may now kiss the groom." Luna kissed his chest and Cross laughed, Luna woke up and her face reddened as she bot on his chest saying "You think it's funny to tease me?!"
Cross grabbed her waist and laughed as he said "Yup! Hahhaha" Luna said "You-" before moaning loudly, as Cross slipped inside of her saying "Good morning~" before pounding her, as Luna bounced up and down with her tongue out of her mouth.
A while later
Luna stepped out of the shower and grumbled, Cross was sitting on the bed in his school clothes looking at the fetus in thought.
Luna got dressed and slung her arms around his neck, kissed his cheek from behind as she said "What is this, hubby." Cross said "A baby from a Death Eater and Voldemort. I don't know what to do with it."
Luna hummed and said "You took it?" Cross nodded and said "Her parents are going to die... Well one is dead already and I didn't want to kill an unborn baby." Luna said after a few seconds "Why don't we keep it?"
Cross looked at her and said "WHAT!?" Luna nodded and said "We'll raise it like our own... Of course to make sure it doesn't end up like it's parents..." Cross gave her a good look and Luna didn't even blink, he looked back at the fetus and bit his and Luna's finger, drawing two drops of blood before healing Luna's finger.
The two drops of blood floated in front of him and slowly sank into the fetus, expelling all the other blood that was inside. The fetus trembled before a golden-red blood cocoon covered it. Luna held it extremely gently in her hands, feeling a blood connection.
Cross said seriously "You can't back out of this now." Luna snorted and said "As if I would. It's family now." Cross smiled softly and said "En. Leave it here, when it's ready to be born you will feel it." Luna reluctantly but the blood cocoon on a pillow on the desk before leaving with Cross, going to the great hall to eat breakfast.
They got into the great hall and all the students eyes landed on Cross before they started whispering.
Cross frowned and picked up a newspaper, the front page was filled with pictures of Dumbledore's hearing and the article stating his crimes and punishment along with a detailed description of how the hearing went.
Cross read the article and didn't see anything even suggesting he had anything to do with it. He was confused, why was everybody looking at him, Luna nudged him and flipped the newspaper to another page, there was a small article on the later pages that was titled 'The Last Blood Elf'.
Cross read the article that detailed himself and how he was an ancient extinct race, capable of powers one could only dream of. Then it directly mentioned his name along with a quote 'The thing about chess is all the pawns are useful.. Consider this the last check to you.' -The Old Schemer.
Cross trembled and the newspaper shook, Luna looked at him worriedly, but Cross burst out laughing. The students were startled, did he go crazy?
Cross laughed and said "Good move! Excellent check! Hahahahaha" Luna covered her eyes, not wanting to see what happens next.
Cross turned to the students and grinned as he said "It's true. What are you going to do about it?" a massive wave of pressure slammed against the students and they trembled in fear, giving up any thoughts of going after Cross for his secrets.
Cross took back the pressure and chuckled as he ate his breakfast.
A while later
Hermione, Ron, and Harry sat down in front of Cross. Hermione slammed the newspaper down and looked at Cross as she said "You're in danger, and you're just eating here?!" Cross rolled his eyes and said "What danger. Shut up and eat."
Harry looked down and Cross pointed at him saying "Ultimate Cleanse." He did the same for Ron and they both blinked before smiling at Cross and saying "Thanks" Cross grinned and said "No worries! Really dodged a bullet there eh, Harry?" as he pointed to the article on Dumbledore.
Harry sighed and said "I guess so.." as he looked at a locket in his hands. Cross said "You should probably continue to do your thing. If you don't destroy all the Horcruxes, then you will die. I suggest you go fast... You're time is running out."
Harry clenched the locket and nodded.
Cross smiled and continued to eat.
The teachers continued to teach with sour moods, the whole school was a bit depressed. McGonagall took it upon herself and became the Headmistress, while Snape disappeared.
The school year ended and Cross hummed happily to himself as he left the school with Luna. Just as he left he heard a soft voice "Please come back, Elven Prince... There are still many things that you currently do not possess... You have saved me but the danger is not yet gone..."
Cross stopped and said "The castle?" Luna looked around, not hearing anything but Cross heard a response "Yes.. Please come back... Next year... I will be yours..."
Cross said "Very well... I will come back. Hopefully you will explain at that time." the castle replied "Of course..." before going silent.
Cross teleported away, leaving the school.
Luna and Cross arrived at Cross' house, Luna was still holding the blood cocoon. Cross told her to leave it in his beast bag to which Luna agreed, it would be far less dangerous to leave it there, then to carry it around with her at all times.
Time slowly passed like this
Cross got Marcus and the rest to move to somewhere secret, as Voldemort might attack at any time. He may be a moron, but he's a dangerous moron.
And so after so persuading, Marcus and the entire family moved. Cross smiled and stayed in the house and a few days later, just as he suspected.
Cross sat in the living room with Luna as Death Eaters swarmed into the house.
Cross drank from his cup and smiled as he said "Welcome to my humble abode. Wondering where my family is?" he grinned and looked at the group as he said coldly "Ask your fellow Death Eaters in hell."
He waved his hand and they all got tied up in strings.
Cross grinned as he slowly closed his fist and said "Goodbye~" the Death Eaters screamed in pain before exploding into chunks of flesh and blood.
Luna clicked her tongue and said "Honestly, can you not make a mess?" as she waved her hand and all the blood and guts disappeared, burning up into ashes.
Cross smiled and replied "You can take care of it, can't you?" Luna giggled and shook her head saying "Jeez, I'm not a maid. We will have House-Elves in the future." Cross rubbed her hand with his thumb and smiled softly before saying "Living in a house with you? Gross."
Luna laughed and said "I forgot how disgusting you were, you're right." Cross smiled sweetly and kissed her as he said "You know.. This house is empty..." Luna giggled and said seductively "What are you suggesting~"
Cross pushed her down on the couch and kissed her neck, sliding his hand up her shirt, as he said "Let me give you an example.." Luna hummed in comfort and kissed him, about to get into it.
They heard a series of coughs and thuds.
Cross looked over and said in annoyance "Come on. How many visitors can a guy get?" as he looked at Sirius, Lupin, Moody, Nymphadora, Fleur, and a few others he didn't recognize.
Moody said "Well, if you don't want to be seen, don't snog on the couch while the door is wide open." Cross sat up and said "You know, you were a lot funnier when Crounch was impersonating you." Lupin and Sirius chuckled, Moody said "Harhar. Very funny, we have questions."
Cross said "And you came to me? A little Elf boy?" Moody rolled his eyes and sat down "Little Elf boy, my ass. How long have you known?"
Cross looked at the group and said "Is this an interrogation? I want a lawyer." Sirius chuckled and said "You see, I still remember some things that were buried in my mind." Cross rolled his eyes and said "I should've double checked after I obliviated you then."
Sirius scratched his neck and chuckled.
Moody said "Come on, boy. Out with it." Cross smiled and said "Well you see, the first year I noticed the potions and then from then on Sirius told me he was there under Dumbledore's orders...." Cross went on and on as he talked until the eventual end of Dumbledore.
Cross smiled at their shocked looks and said "I know, I'm amazing, the most handsome guy you've ever seen as well eh?" Luna giggled and Lupin said "And Dumbledore?" Cross chuckled evilly "Let's just say, he won't be a problem ever again..."
He grinned and added "Even if he escapes from Azkaban." Moody was silent for a few moments before saying seriously "Good. Though, we still have a job to do. Because the Old bastard was planning so deep, we have to defeat a Dark Wizard as strong as him. Alright, let's go."
Cross pointed at himself and said "Let's go? Do I look like someone who jumps head first into danger? Did you not just hear my life story?" Moody said "Well, you know much more than we do, so you're coming along."
Cross just had his mouth open, completely speechless. Sirius said "Oi... Lad, come save my Godson won't you?" Cross cursed "Do I look like a good person! I'm a terrible, evil guy! Worse than Voldemort! Don't just look at my handsome face!"
Luna laughed and Fleur said "Um, can you come to my wedding? You and Luna are both invited." Cross was even more shocked and said "You're getting married?! 2 years ago, you were still falling over yourself!" Fleur almost spit out a mouthful of blood, good thing Cross spoke in French, she replied weakly "It's different now. I have a lover, you know what happens to a Veela once they find their lover."
Cross said "Yeah, yeah. Save your breath I know." he looked at Moody and said "What do I get by helping you?" Moody narrowed his one eye and said "Some stuff and some things."
Cross almost died of anger "Some stuff and some things!?" Moody hummed "Good stuff and things." Cross was about to go on a rampage but Luna said "We'll help." Moody and the rest grinned and Cross grumbled "You're lucky, my wife is a good person..."
They all chuckled and Moody said "We're going to Potter's. Let's go!" Cross went to his room and stuffed a bunch of Wedding clothes in his bag, for him and Luna. He slung his bag over his shoulder and got outside before whistling.
Grey flew out of Cross' bag and grew, Cross carried Luna and hopped up on Grey's back as he said "Race ya! Hahahahahaha" the group were stunned and Grey flew away to Harry's house. He could get there because his string was still on Harry's body. If they were going somewhere else he would need coordinates if he's never been there.
The group sighed and flew away. Sirius looked at Lupin and said "The kid has better style than you for sure." Lupin swung at him with a smile as he said "You're one to talk, damn dog." Sirius chuckled and flew off on his broom.
