Meeting You

"I have been wacthing you for thirty minutes. Nelson get away from the bar already," I mumbled to myself. As i made my third circle around the plaza a woman sat right beside him. She looked at the man with a flirtatious confused look. They had a short conversation, then both stood up at the same time.
I waited a couple of minutes. I adjusted my suit and started my way to the room they just entered. I put my hand on the knob turning it slowly so it wont click as loud.
There's a thud as I walked slighty past the mini bar. I walked closer to find out that Nelson had fallen, dead, to the floor with a frozen look of fear.
~Who else is here? Where's that woman?~
I ask myself turning around in a full circle just as the window opened as the woman jumped out and ran. She looked back a few times with her eyebrows creased.
~My God she is beautiful.~ I finally paid attention to her while she jammed her earbuds in her ears, and slowed down to a walk. The woman wore an all black outfi: loose fitted jumpsuit, flats and satin gloves with a messy bun that completely complimented her pecan colored skin.
I turned around remembering that I would have to deal with a body now. I called Ben to tell that Nelson was already dealt with before I got to him.
"You seem too deep in thought, and you haven't even been assigned a target since last week," Saddie stated, flicking my eyebrow,
"I know that last one really messed with the investagation Zach had planned out for me. Apparently that girl killing Nelson before i got information about the pharmacy took out the other ones too ;they were all connected," i say standing up to get ready to go to work.
"Ah well I will see you later Drew," Saddie said now texting on her phone
I got the keys to the bookstore. I looked back contemplating if i should drive today ~Nah it's a nice day~
~I should stop by the candle shop and get some more candles~
*dink dint*
I entered the shop taking a deep breath while walking towards the citrus scented candles.
"Ah-oh, hello," A voice said surprised, "do you need any help finding anything in particular?" She asked as I turned around slightly surprised to see the woman from last week.
~Huh her name is Alex~ "Um, no I'm good for now. Thank you," I said calmly.
She stared at me as I turned back towards the candles.
"I'm sorry to bother you but do you work across the street at the bookstore?" Alex asked me
"Yea I do. I actually own it," I say while picking the Vanilla Lemon candle. "Do you own this shop?" I ask returning the question.
"Yea but I-this is for fun. I make most of the candles here. I also do incense burners..." As she pulled her lips to an proud but awkward smile.
~Honestly you don't old enough to even be out of school.~
"How old are you?" I ask before I even realized that I did.
"Haha I'm 18 but I'll be 19 in two weeks. You?" She asked back while putting the candle in the bag
"Huh. Well I'm 20 and that happened last week. Thaank you" I say taking the bag and leaving.
Would you like to have lunch with me at the store? And the name's Drew" I ask going for a long shot.
"Um...ye-sure, I'm Alex,"She said pointing at the nametag she wore.
"Cool I'll see you at 12:30 then, Alex" I say nodding and turning out of the building
