Chapter 47: Broke In
After Bai Liancheng left, Mo Zhexuan grinned. Finally, he got rid one of the pesky flies that bothered Lu Jingyi.
Not along after, his phone rang. Mo Zhexuan was quite in a good mood ever since he settled with Bai Liancheng. He picked up the phone without looking at the name or number in it.
"Hello."
"Son, come back for dinner tomorrow, okay? Mom misses you. Your brother just got back. I want to have a family meal together."
"Sure, Mom."
"Great. See you tomorrow, Zhexuan."
"Mm."
A family dinner? More like interrogation about his love life. Mo Zhexuan shook his head in amusement. That mother of his was like an open book, too easy to read.

Outside of Mo's Group, Mo Zhexi was walking in circle. He was trying to figure out what happened when he was not here. Why did his brother want him to keep an eye on Lan Xing?

The receptionist was dumbfounded and was scared that she would be fired for letting some stranger got in easily.
She immediately called Wang Jiasi's assistant to inform her of the arrival of a stranger might be coming to CEO's office.

"Sir, someone broke in without an appointment. Our receptionist wasn't able to catch up to him as he was too fast for her. She identified the person was a man and presumed he will be coming towards here."
The assistant was calmly reporting and not surprised at all. She informed her boss that someone was coming for him.
"Who do you think it is, Ruyi?"
"I'm sorry sir. I do not know. Maybe some of your close friends. I concluded that no one would be brave enough to stride towards your office without permission except your close friends, sir."
Wang Jiasi was impressed by his assistant's analysis. It's true. Only his close friends were brave enough to be able to come in without his permission. More precisely, he allowed them.
Just when he was admiring his assistant's analyzing skill, the door burst opened.
"Brother Jiasi, I have come to seek your help."
Wang Jiasi's assistant bowed and greeted Mo Zhexi before leaving and closing the door.
"Wow, you have come back. What help do you need? I'm sure your brother will help you if you ask."
"Well, I am too curious to know what happened to Sister-in-law and Lan Xing but brother won't tell me and just ordered me to keep an eye on Lan Xing."
Wang Jiasi shook his head and sighed.
"You do know you have the ability to investigate yourself, right?"
"Oh yeah. I forgot I can do that. Forget that. Since I'm here, I'll just listen from you."
Wang Jiasi sometimes think that Mo Zhexi could be stupid at times. But he is an excellent hacker behind his brother.
Mo Zhexuan left everything in hacking for Mo Zhexi to do it. When he couldn't find the infomation they need, Mo Zhexuan will back him up.
Wang Jiasi proceeded to explain what happened that day Lan Xing invited Lu Jingyi. Mo Zhexi listened and was not shocked by what Lan Xing did.
An actress was an actress. She basically acts in and off set. The real her was too vicious. Thank god his Sister-in-law was smart to see through her act.
