Chapter 169: Monochrome Days

The sun had been savage all season long, rising above the pleasant temperatures that were normal to an oven-like sear. Every fallen piece of leaf was bleached and dehydrated, almost as good as scattered crisps.

There was something about Summer, the movement of the clouds was synchronized yet independent, even their hues were unique. And while they waltzed in that way, came the song of crickets and the chirps of birds, content to be blessed by gentle rays.

A month ago, I was discharged from the hospital and started working again. After recovering from the fever, I got back to assist Marvel with his routines inside and outside the company.
