Chapter 89: The Arms of Fearfulness

SLAP!!

A strong, powerful smack landed across my cheek and it stung. I shut my eyes as I felt the sharp burning sensation on half of my face over it, and before my mind could progress, the person who gave me that pain grabbed my jaws angrily.

"You should have thanked me for willing to kiss a dirty whore like you, but… biting my lips?" Sergei spat the blood he got from his crunched lip. "You must get that cockiness because you think Yerevan will save you."

To my surprise, he gave me another slap on the other side of my face before cupping my jaws again. And this time, I still couldn't avoid his strike.

"Listen to me, you slut. He won't come to save you. Not even him. Not even his people. Nobody!"

He spoke as if he cursed my whole being while he was repeatedly slapping my face. I lost count of how many times I had been slapped and I couldn't feel the pain anymore. I just felt I would faint anytime soon.
