Chapter 67: Aftermath of the Hawaii battle

Alright let me get rid of those hopes and dreams now. The only time Kratos is super strong is in God Of War, he will not be an invincible god killer in this fic, honestly he won't even be the kratos you guys are hoping for. He'll be more based on Mythology Kratos with my own things added, like being a demigod instead of a god. So yeah, he's not going to be how some of you would like him to be, he's going to be less invincible god killer and more normal demigod who was blessed(cursed) with the ability to kill gods. Enjoy.

(2 Months ago, First POV)

"Yes, as you see here it seems that the local islanders managed to pick up photos of the person behind the attack on their land, The American Terrorist Argen-"

I stopped listening to the T.V as it said my legal last name. I hated that name just as much as I hated the gods.

I was sat in a small bar, drinking alcohol even though I wasn't old enough to drink.

I looked around 15 or 16 now, so who cares anyway. That was one of the first things I noticed as Law's body had faded into ash.

I almost destroyed an island when that had happened, but I did managed to reign in my anger.

"Hey doesn't that kid sort of look like the terrorist?" I heard a man say, whispering to his friend.

"Hmm… I mean he had the hair and overall build, but isn't he a little older than they said the guy is? Let me see that paper again…"

I smiled a little as I turned to face the men, shocking the man who had started the conversation.

"Yeah, it's me, The Terrorist… What're you going to do about it?" I said smiling a little as my eyes flashed a reddish color.

I was more in tune with that side now after the battle, what this meant? I had no clue, but I did know it would make me stronger.

"What are we going to do?" The man suddenly said with a bit of confidence in his voice, though I could tell he was scared.

I'd trained with Law to feel peoples emotions, now I was even more sensitive after the battle, like a cruel reminder of Law.

"We'll kill you ourselves, no need for police to be involved-"

I snatched the man by the face and held him up while drinking a bottle of gin. The stuff sucked, and it kinda hurt to drink, but oh well, I knew a guy that would drink it all the time, he said it numbs all the pain.

I mean that's what he usually said before he'd beat me to a bloody pulp.

"Hmm… You threatened me with eleven words, so I'll take eleven teeth, seems fair right?"

The words only registered to the man after I was already 6 teeth in, pressing my thumb against them and breaking them off.

"Ahh!" He screamed as I continued, blood running down my hand and dripping onto the floor.

Upon reaching eleven I slammed the guys face into the counter and grabbed two more bottle of the gin stuff, it seemed to be working as I didn't feel a thing.

"Now what do you think you're doing with that? Drinking is an alright thing in moderation, or even in vast amounts, so long as it's in celebration… So why are you drinking Argen?" Scathath asked, appearing in front of him with something large wrapped around her back in white papyrus looking stuff.

"Ugh… The hell are you looking at bitch?" I said as I smashed the bottle at her feet.

I was now a little taller than her, and under the effects of the alcohol, I didn't have a clue what I was doing.

"What was that? My my… I didn't realize you sought death."

I gulped as she said it, but my heart wasn't in it. Hearing the word death just made me think about Law, and then I just broke down.

I blamed the gods for so many of my problems, but I couldn't blame anyone but me for Law's death.

I had brought her from the prison that moon goddess had her in. I had brought her to train with Scathath, and I had brought her with me to Hawaii, knowing that there was a good chance it would end up in a fight.

Scathath looked at me surprised before snatching me up and disappearing from the area, thankfully no one was staring at me.

Upon reaching a cave off to the outskirts of the island I sighed, Asfalis had gotten rid of the alcohol in my system, sobering me up quickly.

"Where is Law?" Scathath asked even though I could tell she had already guessed. I explained everything to her, my recklessness, my stupidity, and most of all, my part in Law's death.

Scathath wasn't mad, she wasn't even disappointed, I could just feel the slightest hint of sadness before she pulled me into a hug.

Now this was new, and weird. I'd never really been hugged by anyone but Megan before, God knows my parents never had.

I found myself crying into Scathath's shoulder as she held me, not allowing me to escape her grasp.

It was then I felt a binding, Scathath had promised something on the River Styx, I wasn't sure what, but it involved me…

(1 Week Later)

I stepped on the rocks as me and Nia, the old High King of Ireland walked along the shore.

"What do you think Nia? Right or left?" I asked as he looked around.

His mother was a woodland goddess, so he was a bit out of his element in the ocean shores.

"I think she'll come left…" He answered pulling out his sword as I nodded and turned right.

*Whish*

"Dead," Scathath said as me and Nia both gulped. The butt of the spear was on the back of his neck while the spear head was resting against the side of my throat.

"I almost reacted fast enough, if I knew you were holding back so much while fighting me I wouldn't have been so cocky…"

Scathath seemed almost amused at my statement and took her spear back, stabbing it into the ground and looking around.

"This is the place, we won't need to worry about much if we're hidden in a secret dimension, this way I can train both of you without worry."

I nodded and looked around. We'd scoured the entirety of the UK for this place, as Scathath had told us the story of Camelot, and Arthur, the king of Camelot.

Apparently she had met him long ago on accident, she didn't speak on the matter much, but I could tell there was something more she wasn't telling us.

"So how would we get in? Chances are we won't be welcome with open arms… Unless?"

Scathath shook her head, confirming my fear that we'd face something upon opening the mythical land.

"Camelot is just a gate to the main goal, but we won't even be able to go there without someone worthy… Avalon is the place where Arthur and his knights reside now, away from humanity and reality as they go on adventure after adventure…"

This was the second time she had trailed off when talking about Arthur, it almost made me wonder…

"Were you and Arthur a thing? The way you talk about him is almost like-"

The end of the spear slammed on the top of my head as Scathath blushed slightly, a very un-Scathath thing to do.

"It is nothing, search for a dragon carving in the walls, rocks, anything, once you find it then tell me, I can open the gate if I have the entrance."

"No need… I think someone's opened it for us…" I said quietly as I saw the golden swirling portal that opened in front of us.

Scathath looked shocked for a second before she got a hold of herself and walked toward it cautiously.

As we followed her I realized, she never actually told us what was in Camelot now… If Arthur wasn't there anymore, then who was?
