Doris knocks at the door of her employer's second wife, Madison. On the third knock, she finally answers the door.
"Who is it?!" Came out a frustrated voice from inside the room.
"It is me, ma'am. Doris Jackson." Doris answers leaning close towards the door.
She heard some rustling behind the door and after some clinking of heels against the floor moving closer before the door was finally opened and emerged the figure of Madison.
"Yes, what brought you to my doorstep for you to disturb me in my period of rest?" Madison echoes with those prideful eyes.
"Ma'am, I am taking retirement from my job. Mister Harrington sent me here to ask for your approval before I leave."
"Well of course not. Now if you heard the answer please go find yourself some work to get busy with." She was about to go back inside but Doris held the door before she could close it. "What is the matter with you, Doris?" She says, turning back with a bitter tone.
