Chapter 53: Bloody Heirs

"Oh yeah? What can I do to get rid of that name then?" 

Ruby shakes her head. "You can't do anything about it." She places her hand against his cheek. "You even dragged Max down with you today. You provoked mom, obviously, she'd get angry." He pushes her hand away and turns his face. 

"I didn't ask him to do anything for me. Now look he made me the culprit again. I know he did this to make me the suspicious one, he's no different than his mother and his older brother." 

"Careful David. Despite being the youngest he's the only one in the family after us that shares dad's blood. Be good to him at least." David scoffs. 

"Don't forget he has Madison's blood too." He said it with an eye roll. 

"Besides that... Dad told me you're also rebelling against your engagement. What happened to that? You willingly accepted Katherine as your fiancée? Right?" 

"I did and I accept that has been the worst decisions of my life."
