Chapter 39: Slice of Life

The sun was setting, she dusted off her dress and started walking towards the road with her slippers in her hands when she collided with a guy and apologized without looking at him. She started moving again with the lowered head when the same guy stopped her and started groping her.

She was suddenly taken aback and looked at the guy and found him drunk with bloodshot eyes. He mumbled some pickup words some of which she wasn't able to hear and the guy started nearing towards her face, she tried to push him away but that was effortless.

Suddenly she stopped struggling and allowed the person to nibble on her neck. She was done being too naive, she was too upset, she had been plaguing but now she wanted to give up. She wanted to have a slice of life.

She let herself be carried by the man since she didn't have any money to return anyway.
