Chapter 55: Devil 52: Jack or Natsu?
Salamander's Pov
Marahan akong pumasok sa shower room at pinindot ang answer button ng phone ko na kanina pa nagriring.
"Boss."
"What happened?" I asked him as I stepped in the tub and slowly sit in.
"I got nothing in the house that you said. Nobody knows him there. But... I got a name who might know about his friend."
Natigilan ako sa narinig.
"Find that person."
"Yes, Boss."
After Draco's call ended I stop for a moment and dialed Natsu. I kinda missed him kahit magkasama lang kami kanina. And I feel like guilty too for searching someone I don't even know if still alive.
"Hello?"
Napangiti ako nang marinig ang boses ni Natsu mula sa kabilang linya.
"Hello Salamander...ikaw ba 'to?"
"Natsu.." Marahang sambit ko.
Bahagya siyang natigilan. Napangiti ako saka marahang ipinikit ang aking mga mata. At mula sa boses na pinakawalan niya ay dumaloy ang malakas na enerhiya na nagmumula sa aking bead papunta sa kinaroroonan ni Natsu.
And in a blink of an eye. I saw where he is and what he's doing.
He's playing with his nephew while arguing.
"Hoy Zeroin! Is that your gf Salamander?"
"Haysst! Don't touch my phone! Mind your own business okay?"
"Tell me! Is that your girlfriend? Are you making a video call? Can I see her face?" His nephew said and snatched his phone.
"Third! Hayst! Stop it! Give it back-!!" Natsu yelled and run to him.
"Hello! Is this Salamander? Are you Zeroin's-!"
"Third! Damn it! I said give it back!"
And after he grab his phone back. Natsu smacked his nephew and went back to his phone.
"Ouch! Do you really have to hurt me?" His nephew exclaimed but Natsu ignored him.
"Jack! Are you still there?" He said in a hurry tone.
"Yes, I'm still here."
"Uhh..pasensya kana sa pamangkin ko. Ginugulo kasi ako."
"It's fine. You look like having fun."
"What? Having fun with who? Well anyway, why did you call me? Is there something wrong?"
"Nope, I just miss you."
He scratched his back while grinning and blushed.
I laugh looking at his reactions. Cute!
He cleared his throat and trying to make a serious tone.
"Magkasama lang naman tayo kanina ah." Aniyang namumula while trying to make it serious.
"I know. But I missed you."
He took his phone away from his mouth and lie on his bed while giggling.
I can't help but laugh at him without a sound.
I never thought he would be this cute when giggling.
"What the fuck Zeroin?! Did you just-!" His nephew shouted but before he could finished his sentence, Natsu threw a pillow on him.
"Shut the fuck up!" He cussed and went back to his phone.
"Jack, sorry about that. It's just my nephew. Where were we again?"
I chuckled and said. "Saying I missed you and you were giggling while lying on your bed."
"Oh, right! Wait..! What??! How did you..?" He puzzled and then look around.
"Hey Salamander, tell me! Did you installed a hidden camera in my room?" He exclaimed.
Natawa ako sa tinuran niya.
"Nope, I just imagine things."
"What? You just imagined me lying on my bed while giggling? Whoah..!" He can't believe it.
"Natsu.."
He stopped for a moment.
"Yes, Salamander?"
"I love you."
He went red again and look at his nephew. When he saw him busy with something he went back to his phone.
"I love you too."
Napangiti ako matapos ang pag uusap namin ni Natsu saka inilubog ang katawan ko sa tub na puno ng yelo.
Natsu, Natsu, Natsu. Why am I being like this with you?
Just who are you? Why am I being...me? around you?
I put my hand in my chest and feel the slow beat in my heart.
The first time I woke up from being dead for a long time, none of my organs was functioning. I'm like a corpse pretending to be alive. I'm like a zombie without rotting my skin. I'm like a vampire who scared in the sun. I'm like a wolf who get angry in humans. I'm like a cyborg who can be fixed when broken. I'm like a demon that nobody, wants to be with.
Coz I'm just a Devil, that anybody's scared of.
But when I met you. Everything change.
You change my body.
You change my mind.
You change my reactions.
You change my senses.
You change my knowledge.
You change my power.
You changed Me.
Napapikit ako at dahan dahang inilubog ang ulo sa tub.
Just who exactly you are? Ezequil Zeroin Montero?

What about him? My love. Where is he?
Where are you, Jack?
At sa hindi ko maipaliwanag na dahilan ay muling bumalik ang alaalang iyon na hindi nawawaglit sa aking isipan. Ang tanging alaalang naiwan sakin mula ng ako'y magising.
"Please don't do this to me love, please!" He cried out as he held my hand while fighting not to let me go.
We're at the cliff of the mountain and he's trying to save me from falling.
He grip my hand and trying his best to lift me up.
My tears falls down as I saw his tears.
"We never make it out. Please love.. just let go of my hand. Save yourself." I said in despair.
"No! No please! Don't let go. I don't want you to let go. Please, I can do this. I can save us all. Just trust me okay?" He said with full of hope.
"I always trust you and you know that. But this time...you have to trust me, love. You have to live. Live your life and never wait for me anymore. Find a girl who will fulfill the love that I couldn't give to you. Promise me."
Pains written on his face.
"Why are you saying this to me? Why are you pushing me to find someone else when you know that you're the only one for me..." He said in tears as he continue his saying.
"...remember the day that I told you that our hearts belongs to each other? That's true. If you die right now as well as my heart. And don't ever pair me up with someone else coz it's not gonna happen. Just hang on. I can lift you up. Just hang on, please."
I know he can't make it. There's a rope encircling my body which connected to a cage at the bottom. If he tries to pull me up tha cage will only pull me down. And there's a possibility that he may pulled down also, so I have to make a choice.
It's me or us.
But I don't want him to die with me. He has so many dreams that he wants to achieve. I want him to reach that dream.
"Always remember that I love you. And no matter what happen. I will always love you."
"No! Please!! Say it when we save ourselves first." He exclaimed.
"And if I live again. I promise I will find you. But please don't wait for me. Just be happy and don't let our memories take your happines for the near future."
"Ally please!! Don't say that! Please!"
"Good bye my love..." I said as I smiled to him.
"Allyna!! Don't!!! Allyna!!!"
That moment was being slow as if I was pulling down below in a slow motion. I smiled at him while he's still trying to reach my hand.
I have to let him go. I have to make a sacrifies to save him. Because I love him.
Good bye my love!
I closed my eyes as I'm about to reach the ground.
"Haaahhhhh!" I screamed as I got out from the tub.
Napahawak ako sa aking dibdib. My heart was beating fast.
Jack! My love!
I calmed myself while thinking of him.
And a few moments later my heart was stable.
I closed my eyes and think of him more.
Who is Jack Ryder? Why did I use his name as my own the moment I got out from the glass?
I only know his name and that incident that keeps on hunting me. But I still don't know who am I. I still don't know who he is.
In that incident. He called me Allyna. Dr. Snyder said I'm his girlfriend. But that's it. That's all I know.
What about my family? Do I have my own?
Just who the hell am I??
I felt mixed emotions just by thinking of them.
Who is Jack?
Who is Allyna?
Who is Natsu?
Why am I falling with Natsu? While I'm saying in that small memory that I will find Jack?
I'm saying that I love that man named Jack in my memory but now I love Natsu.
What do I do?
Napapikit ako nang mariin kasabay ng luhang tumulo mula sa aking mga mata.
Am I worth loving them both?
My past. And my Present.
Is it okay to forget Jack and continue to love Natsu?
I'm happy with Natsu. I know that what I felt for him is love.
But what about Jack?
In that memory, I know and I felt that I love him too. I love him more than everything. And whenever I think of him I felt my heart in pain.
What should I do?
Should I still look for Jack?
Or
Should I just forget about him and love Natsu?
What should I do?

Someone's Pov
"Dr. Snyder!" Malakas na tawag ng assistant ni Dr. Snyder habang nakatingin sa data mula sa monitor.
Mabilis namang napalapit ang batikang doctor dito.
"What happened?" Takang tanong nito na may halong kaba.
"It's Allyna. She's not stable. Her emotions are getting stronger." Anito at binigyang way ang doctor upang tingnan ang monitor.
Pinagmasdan ni Dr. Snyder ang larawan sa monitor. Makikita roon ang transparent cells ng taong nag mamay-ari ng mga ito. It's like a small bacteria which trigging and shivering.
"I think she's thinking of Jack again. And she's getting stronger." Anang assistant.
Napabuntong hininga si Dr. Snyder.
"Keep monitoring her emotions. And if things get worse contact James and send the Montero child in her room." Aniya saka muling bumalik sa ginagawa niya kanina.
"But Dr. Snyder, the stronger Allyna become the weaker that M-!"
"Just do it!"
"Copy that." Sagot ng assistant at agad na may tinawagan.
Napatingin naman si Dr. Snyder sa monitor niya kung saan naroon ang larawan ni Allyna kasama ang bunsong anak ng mga Montero.

Napabuntong hininga siya saka may kinuhang bagay sa drawer niya.
Lumang larawan iyon kung saan may tatlong lalaki na magkakasama. Napatingin siya sa lalaking nasa gitna.
Tell me what should I do about your son, John.
He's growing up. He seems to be normal now.
I want to save them both. But I'm afraid that one of them has to die for the sake of the other. Unless...
Napabuntong hininga siyang muli at napatingin sa isa pang lalaki sa larawan.

Napabuntong hininga siyang muli at napapikit ng mariin while gripping the old picture tight.
