Chapter 28: A plan

McCreery

When we heard that, we knew immediately that something was wrong, and it's probably our fault, those innocent people died.

—Do you think it could be her? —Albert asks me worried.

—Do you know anyone else with an insatiable thirst and accumulated anger? —McCreery asks sarcastically.

—What are we going to do now? —Albert asks dismayed.

—First, we have to get Richard out and make sure he's safe —McCreery replies as he heads on his way to the clinic.

—What if he follows us? —Albert asks.

—We'll be fine, he seems to have fun scaring the cops, hopefully, we'll get her a little damaged, to gain an advantage —McCreery replies as he accelerates the pace.

We ran so fast until we were out of breath, we had the time told to get poor Richard out and come up with a plan along the way, because we would clearly be his next target and it's already bad, that he fed before he came for us.

—Richard, it's me. We have to leave right now —McCreery says as he disconnects the devices.
