“Alpha Nyxus of the Dark Moon pack is here.” We hear a pack member say. Everyone straightens up and awaits his arrival. Alpha Nyxus hasn’t been seen in years, only by his pack. But when a neighboring pack calls you for help, you don’t hesitate you go and help out your brother pack.
Aren stands next to Christian, their both rather excited to see them. No son or daughter has been an Alpha at the age of 17. He’s the youngest Alpha known to man, his father died a year ago, and his only child was Nyxus.
Speaking of Nyxus, hear he comes. Behind him are a bunch of his pack members, Beta and pack warriors. Christian remembers the first time he met him; it was a couple years ago when he was still in high school. He went on a trip with his father, and he was made to hang out with Nyxus. He was quiet and reserved but had an aura about him that was scary and made you want to run. And from seeing him now, Christian can see that feeling stayed the same after all these years.
His dark black hair is held together in a man bun, all he wears is black from head to toe. Black, being the most dominating color out there. His hands rest comfortably in his pocket as he Strides over to Mr. Germani.
Their hands clasp over each other, “Alpha Nyxus.” Mr. Germani says to him.
“Alpha Alexander, Alphfina Coletta.” His hands leave Mr. Germani and goes to kiss Mrs. Germani on the hand. “Coletta, you don’t look a day over 30.” She blushes at his comment of her age. He’s always been the type of guy who loved to boast up woman, always being chivalrous.
“You have grown into a handsome man Nyxus, I’m sorry to hear of your father’s passing.” His face turns cold of hearing about his father’s death.
“I’m not.” And the conversation was laid to rest. “So, brother you called on me and my pack for help.”
“Yes, we did.”
“I was briefed on the matter in the car by my Beta. From what I remember your son is being held in a prison in Insofar.”
“Yes.”
“And he went there to save his mate, who is a Zastitnik.”
“Yes.”
“With no plan to get in and get out.”
Mr. Germani hesitated to speak on, “True.”
“Your son, the noble hero I can’t wait to meet him.” Nyxus hand strokes the map, probably trying to figure out a battle plan. “Did you figure out a plan?”
Steeping up from the shadows is Henry Holt, the beta of the pack. “Me and my son, Christian.” He points to Christian, who is standing next to Aren. “We decided that the best way to get in and out was a small attack. From the insights of Aren, the east side of Insofar doesn’t have a lot of guards. We could come in from that side and then infiltrate as we go on.” Henry stops talking, waiting to hear what Nyxus has to say, and it takes an awful long time.
“It sounds good, but my beta here also had a plan that could combine with yours.” Behind him walks a tall, scary looking man. A long scar starts from his left eye down to the bottom lip in a diagonal direction. “This is my beta, Slate Beloved.” Now that is a cool name, thought Aren.
“Alpha, Beta nice to meet you all. I believe that we should do your plan, but instead of attacking just on the east side we go from all sides. Vet, you know the changing schedules of the guards, correct.”
“Yes.” said Vet. “Around 7 o’clock they change shifts, but I’m assuming you want us to attack them before they shift because their tired.”
“Correct, then we take them down and have one of them direct us to the cells and grab Alexander, and I'm assuming you want us to grab the Zastitnik also.” Everyone looks around at each other, the plan was only to grab Alexander not Quinneth.
“We don’t know if we’ll be able to get to her. But we’ll try.” said Mr. Germani, probably in no hope of getting her at all.
“There is one problem.” A voice from behind a bunch of men say. Everyone crane their neck to see who it was, it sounded of a feminine voice. Out walks a short woman with white hair, hair as white as snow.
“And who are you?” asked Christian in curiosity.
She looked him dead in the eye, “I’m Syndell Beloved, the daughter of the Beta.” Then, Christian remains quiet for the rest of the meeting.
“Ms. Beloved, what was it you were going to say?” said Mrs. Germani.
“I’m assuming we forgot that none of us can go down and get Alexander. The reason is because our scents will be noticed.”
“Then I’ll go in.” says Katana. She feels rather guilty because she wasn’t there to protect Quinneth like she said she would.
“No, Katana you can’t. They want you dead, the moment you walk in you’ll use your head. It needs to be a human.”
“Why a human?” asked Katana.
Vet chimes in the conversation, “Because they have humans working for them as servants, if we send in a human, they won’t think twice about it. Humans are weak, not seen as a threat to them.”
“Ok, well do any of you know a human.” Everyone in the crowded room think to themselves, they really don’t know any humans. Until Aren comes up with a person.
“I know a human.”
“Who?” asked her father.
“Doesn’t matter, she’ll help. Just trust me and Christian, we can get her here within an hour.”
“Go, and don’t fail us.” Her and Christian rush out of the room full of people.
“Who were you talking of back there?” He asked rushing to stay in line with Aren.
“You’ll see.” Was all she said. They ran into the night, under the waxing moon. Going to find the only person that could help them save Alexander.
Getting out of the car, they walk up a rather long driveway. “Where the hell are we?” asked Christian. He looks all around him, but notices anything that looks familiar.
“Just wait, god your so impatient just like Alexander.” They arrive to the door, knocking on it they wait for someone to receive them. Opening the door, Christian let’s out a groan as he sees the person who opens it.
“You can’t be serious Aren.” He whispers to her.
