Chapter 8: Trough the battle
Bumblebee layd unconscious on the ground.
Megatron shouted:" No! I had him in my reach!" Optimus rose up and said:" He will be never in your reach." He activated his ax what came out of his arm. Megatron charged up to him.
Same time Ratchet, Wheeljack, Arcee, Cliffjumper, Hot Rod, Bulkhead (that green bot in previos chapter), Windblade, Jetfire and Blurr drove (flied) there and transformed. Arcee saw injured Bumblebee and covered her mouth with her hand. Cliffjumper said:" We'll bring them down. There's only two of them." Without the word much more counqurers walked there. "We're slagged," Cliffjumper now said. "Let's bring up the heat!" Hot Rod shouted as he ran to fight against their enemies.
Bumblebee was still alive but he saw his memories flash by his eyes. He heard... "Listen, you have spark, kid. It will be end for me. But not for you. I know that you can make Optimus proud." "Thanks, Kup," Bumblebee whispered. Kup then leaned back to berth.
In another memory he heard Optimus say... "There are bad bots looking for you. You have to be strong, my friend. Don't let them get your powers, no matter the cost."
Bumblebee was starting to feel conscious. Everywhere was a huge battle. He looked at his left and saw Ratchet. "Easy, kid," medic said:" It was a miracle that you ever survived." Bumblebee looked at Megatron who was fighting with Optimus. Optimus was losing. "No matter the cost," Bumblebee whispered as he took enemies sword what layd there. Ratchet asked:" What do you want to do? You need to recover!" Bumblebee activated his battle mask and rose up. Small pain shot trough his body but he didn't give up. When Megatron was almost winning then Bumblebee shouted:" You don't!" He threw the charged sword to Megatron. Megatron catched it but then electricity shook his body. Optimus hit Megatron to the chest, hitting the main energon line.
Bumblebee ran towards Optimus. "Megatron has fallen!" Starscream shouted as he somehow flied there:" I Starscream..." "It's overused!" One random counqurer shouted. Starscream saw that they were losing. "Fall back!" Starscream shouted. Bumblebee saw big purple bot there. "Not before i groundbridge Optimus away," he said. Bumblebee pushed Optimus away before the groundbridge appeared in the ground and he fell trough. All of the guardians saw this and gasped. "Bumblebee!" Hot Rod shouted as he ran there where yellow bot just has been. Ratchet said:" He's gone." "Dead?" Cliffjumper asked. Jetfire said:" I hope not. He is strong bot and he will be alright. But for now we need to patch our injuries and maybe Wheeljack can build our own groundbridge." Optimus nodded. "Please be safe," he whispered as he followed others.
Ratchet went to check on Kup but Kup's spark has stopped. "At least you're in the well of the allspark," medic said. Optimus walked there and said:" We have lost too many good guardians but we will fight on." Ratchet agreed with him. "For them," Ratchet said.
Bumblebee woke up and saw himself in the woods. Not too far from him was a mechanical cheetah. It saw him wake up and then ran away. "Wait!" Bumblebee shouted but cheetah dissappeared. "Where am i?" Bumblebee asked quietly.
Windblade walked to the prison in their base and saw that Starscream's cell was blasted from the outside. She comm linked to others:" We are not safe here. Counqurers know our location and they will strike us." "You don't say!" Blurr answered:" What gave it away? Spy among us? Starscream finding our base and escaped from it? Heck, even ex-counqurer found our base himself." Optimus said:" We need to keep moving. When we're safe then we can think about our next move." "Understood," Windblade said.
Hot Rod sighed. "You alright, kid?" Cliffjumper asked. Hot Rod said:" I'm fine. Only little worried about Bumblebee." Cliffjumper said:" You really got close to him." Hot Rod said:" I guess...he reminded me of... myself when i was younger." Cliffjumper put his hand to Hot Rod's shoulder and said:" I miss Ironhide too." Hot Rod nodded and looked down.
What happened to Ironhide and who was he?
