There have been some questions as to the reason for the sudden pause of daily chapters for this novel from around the 5th of last month till now. The reason is compound, and I will give it to you guys straight without trying to undermine your intelligence. 

Around the 5th of every month, WN shows us the earnings of our novels for the previous month. When I saw Feb's earnings for DS in March, I felt like I was wasting my time and effort. 

DS is not a novel written with passion, it's a novel written to make money and put food in my mouth. 

This usually would not be a problem, but here's the case where my other novel, Guild Wars, effortlessly makes 4x what DS does at its best. 

The problem is that it takes 3x more effort to write DS chapters than it does for GW due to the differing natures of the stories and how demanding they are of my planning/creative capacity. 

So to simplify; 3x more effort + 4x fewer sales = 7x writer's block due to lack of motivation. 

I wanted to switch of privilege for DS, but now Webnovel forces all new novels from 2021 to have at least tier 1 privilege, and you can't switch it off. 

So, the question is, will there be daily releases for DS going forward?

That I cannot give you an answer for. I'm going to do the logical choice and focus 90% of my effort on Guild Wars because that's what puts food on the table.

However, I will also not put DS on hiatus, so there should be the occasional chapter here and there.

My advice is to not buy privilege from next month going, or to buy it at the end of the month so you binge at once.
