Chapter 2
(Mr. Evergreens POV)
I watched as my useless daughter walked away. I can't bear to be near her for long since Alivia killed my beloved wife. (Mrs. Evergreen died giving birth to Alivia)
Alivia seems to be acting differently, she's not pestering me for attention. I'm astonished that she behaved politely and mannerly today. However I still feel indifferent towards her, if she thinks by acting differently she can gain my affection then she's mistaken.
- Alivia's POV
As I close the door behind me and walk into my room, I go to a nearby desk. I start plotting out how I'm going to achieve a great life this time. As I have died numerous times I have become wiser and I'm now aware of what I need to do to live a long life. I should have become an intellectual, mastered my magic, and learned how to use weapons. (so if I face death I have a higher chance of getting out alive)
I quickly get up and head to my father's study to ask him if he can assign me a tutor that can teach me to use my magic properly. I will also ask for other classes that are essential for my plan. As I nervously knock on the door, a few seconds of silence pass, and Father's assistant opens it and gestures for me to sit down.
My father does not glance at me, father then asked "Why are you in my study disturbing me." I asked in the most polite way I could "Father I wanted to ask if you could get me tutors that can teach me different subjects." My father had a shocked expression and responded "Why the sudden change of heart I tried to get tutors for you in the past but you refused. Like a useless child, you are "
I contained my anger and ignored his comment. He then said ''I will get you, tutors, by tomorrow now stop bothering me." I was exhilarated " I just wanted to tell you father that I want to take 7 classes ." My father responded, " I see what classes you would like to take."I then said, "Well the 7 classes are Human Geography, Piano classes, Literature, Social Studies, Weapon classes, Etiquette classes, and Mathematics." Father then said, "If that's all close the door on your way out."
