Write a reviewThe overall value was great with the mc quality, world building, and so on.......... BUT!! I dropped after the 200+ cuz everything become downfall. Mc become baseless, pov changed entirely, plot is messed up, characters are so annoying even mc. just like author got kidnapped and someone replaced the position. like the story at the 5th world : spoiler incoming mc did not finished the simulation this is where I thought the possibility of author change. the reason I stopped reading is because I refuse to believe the author would make the precious mc he carefully developed into a stupid downgrading character development which is entirely different to how he usually was.
the thing that irked me the most is that after chapter 819 there should be another chapter where a guy awaken his memory, but somehow it got skipped. prior to that there is a chapter from another probably xianxia novel inserted for some reason what a way to ruin reading immersion man.
This novel is amazing. I have been looking for a novel like the Warlock of the Magus World for a long time and haven't found any book like it until Fantasy Simulator. Translation Quality: I have found no errors and the story is easy to read and understand. Stability of Updates: It is really good. Can be up to 3 chapters a day but none on weekends which is understandable. Story development: This is story is a world travelling one and unlike many similar ones, each one is developed amazingly, you can tell the author has spent a lot of effort to create a original world for each one the MC travels to. Character Design: It's personal preference but this main character has to be one of the best since there's no romance, the MC is calm and rational and the main focus is a path to power. All the other characters are very well designed which you can relate to, in some worlds, quite a bit of it is in another character's perspective which gives unique views of the world and their thoughts on the MC giving more depth to his character. World Background: This is one of hard things to develop in a logical manner in many books but this author does it amazingly. Just read the first arc and the background of the world may make you quite sad. Each have their uniqueness and nothing is every boring. Overall, this book is a gem hidden in the multitude of trash that fills this website (no offence) and should be given a try if you're interested in WoMW and world travelling.
It's alright novel but I'm getting f**king annoyed with these authors of the newer novels. Honestly, I don't mind cliche tropes. It's cliche because it works, so reusing it is only logical. What I don't understand is, why the f**k don't they try to use the "I need to be low-key" device in a better way? 8/10 of the new cultivation novels have this device, but it's done in such a stupid way that it's mind blowing. If you're going to be low key, give a reason. Don't just get up and be like "I'm going to be low key". At least provide a proper explanation for the readers. The other thing is that somehow misunderstandings always develop that make no sense whatsoever. It's like the mob characters have no intelligence. We don't need mob characters to be deep but at least don't dumb them down just to facilitate a misunderstanding
After 100 chapters, I still have no idea where this story is supposed to go besides the MC getting stronger. The MC travels through time and space and finds himself as a younger version of himself in a parallel world. Everything seems to be the same, except for cultivation and the supernatural being real now. The MC has a system that allows him to travel to different worlds through simulations and keep items, skills, and knowledge gained through a lottery system. The real-world story is rather bland, and while the simulations are more interesting, the author highlights the boring bits like pointless conversations and skips anything interesting—not to mention the sheer amount of redundant sentences. All in all, both parts lack depth and flavor. However, my biggest disappointment is that there is no emotional engagement. There are simply no moments that would make your blood boil or cause grief for any character. Nothing that happens inside the simulation truly affects the MC too much. His personality doesn't seem to change even after he experienced decades as another person. The MC doesn't have much of a personality in the first place. All he does is smile and think of a way to use the people around him for his greatest benefit, but the author fails to make the delivery original or even interesting. All feelings are either ignored or there are none in the first place. The potential is there, but unfortunately, the author failed to grasp it.
What can I say about this novel... it starts good and the point that he can visit other planets is also good. Just a character development is kinda trash. What realy killed my interest was when he needed to escape from his planet and flee, but system just kinda change and became all weird from than on. there is also that thing about him not being able to use diffrent power systems in other worlds, becouse world didnt let him use Them? One more thing is that he didnt use simulator for about quit a LOT of time at the time before the hand destroyed his original world, becaous, he was MAKING himself more like a normal person, so that he didnt make himself stupid. BLAAAAHHH I cant talk anymore. Well I can just say it is a Big dissapointment.
Reveal SpoilerAs of chapter 283, I would rate the novel 3/5. So far he used his simulation five times. And during those simulations, there was one that stood out above the rest, imo. It was the third simulation where the mc first entered the xianxia world, i feel like if the mc just made a novel off of the the third simulation it would do very well. After chapter 257, everything went down hill. The author decided to do a reset and decided to transport the mc to a knock off WMW world. Every chapter you read, you just think of WMW, which sucks bc the plot will follow exactly like how it would in WMW. the mc gets two strands of divinity and somehow can receive faith energy. Familiar??? Yeah now the mc just needs to light his god fire and he will officially become a god XD. And from what i heard, the translation just becomes trash later on. I did notice it, sometimes the mc's name would replace other side character's name. Oh yeah, and get used to how redundant the writing is. There is a lot of useless paraphrasing. and usually that means filler and filler means word count and word count means CHA CHING MONEYYYYY!!!

Reveal SpoilerI really loved just about everything about this novel, but the Mtl translation and editors killed any love I had for this story. It's so bad that important characters and place names can change every paragraph, and multiple misspellings and straight-up random words are added in.
honestly reading this book is sort of a letdown in alot of places. I adored the early chapters, and have read decently far into the translation so far (chapter 430 at time of writing). it was really fun seeing how smart and cunning the mc was at first, and watching how he used knowledge and time gained in other worlds to his advantage but by time he gets to the world of God's there is no longer any accumulation of systems or knowledge. he gains nothing in the slightest except faith energy which is the end all be all of power. I think it devolved what was otherwise a really good novel. I plan on keeping reading, but with how the foundation for these arcs are laid I imagine I'd get more joy out of reading the first like 200 chapters again
Reveal SpoilerAn interesting novel but mc have eq of a salted fish. By the way, for me an novel without little romance is a dry wood, boring and unfinished.
the simulation system idea is good but the mc's life in the simulation is too bland. the story is.. hmm how should i put it, the interesting parts are skipped and the boring parts are the one that is so emphasized example is the second simulation, it is too detailed for being second simulation(what i mean is the nonsense talks is so detailed) the interactions are too detailed that it makes it boring they are just talking about why they are doing this and that, the explanations are very long its like a clown saying many nonsense things when he can just say it normally with little words. the story is wasted bcause of that its too irritating. (well that's my opinion)
Started great but everything went wrong on chapter 260. This generaly happenes when a non qualified writer gets an idea and starts writing a book and don't know how to proceed, so he destroyes the world and starts at square one. Please translators stop picking this kind of junk. It is a waste of time for readers
99% useless words. The story has so many redundant sentences that you wouldn't believe that it's possible. The the author has put more effort into fluffing up every single line into 3 whole paragraphs, than he has put into developing the story. If I'm being honest you could skip 3 paragraphs after every line and still follow the story without losing any information. Now, as you can see, the above paragraph could have ended with the first 3 words. I wanted to give you a taste of what you would be getting into & ended up birthing the abomination that you see above. Yes this is how the entire story is going to be. It's a decent story, all you have to do to enjoy reading it is.. trust your gut and only read 3-4 randdom paragraphs in every chapter. Trust me you will be able to follow that story and this way you won't end up dropping it out of frustration.
So for the most part I've enjoyed this novel. I'm currently up to chapter 271. I enjoy the story, the simulation system, and the power creep, at least as a casual read. What I can't get over is the intense similarity to Warlock of the Magus world which no-one seems to have mentioned in the reviews. Knights, Knight Secret Techniques, Great Knights, Meditation techniques, Sorcerers (magus), Gold potions (aka Grine water), Warlocks, Bloodlines, Magic God making a Magic Net, pretty much everything in the Sorcerer world and the world he reincarnates to later seems directly copied from WotMW. At least the cultivation worlds in Azure Heaven simulation have the excuse that all xianxia tropes are recycled. I'll continue reading because I enjoy the WotMW setting, and treat this as a homage or a fanfiction, but I'll do so feeling distinctly uncomfortable about what I can only consider plagiarism.
Reveal SpoilerFantasy Simulator is a story about Chen Heng, someone who transmigrated to a parallel dimension that has martial arts. He also obtains the Fantasy Simulator, allowing him to travel to different worlds in order to gain power. While this novel is interesting to read, it is overwhelmingly shallow. You will not care about a single character in this novel, and even the main character does not care. This includes his family as well. Translation quality is quite poor. The further you get into this novel, the more it deteriorates. Names will randomly change, and very obvious errors are just left alone. Nearly every single sentence has a grammatical error. However, it is still readable, just a bit annoying to read. (2/5 stars) As for the story development, everything is extremely shallow. The real world is hardly introduced properly, and you only get bits and pieces of a looming threat that doesn't seem all that bad until the author suddenly turns the pacing from 0 to 100 randomly. I mean, after a certain point he literally has no motivation to do anything. He becomes stronger just because, he never expresses any desires either, he just meanders forward to get more power. Of course, hes so ridiculously powerful that he never has any real threats, so tension is non-existent. (3/5 stars) As for the characters, they are pretty 1d. Due to the fact that this is an infinity novel, you will not have any attachment to any characters. The plot twists suffer from this as well, as no matter what happens you can't bring yourself to care, especially since the main character doesn't either. The main character is rather bland, he is a typical "expert" mary sue character. Pretty much emotionless, doesn't have to resort to evil ways to get what he wants, conveniently becomes enemies of those who are evil, and doesn't have to fight against the good guys at all. Every side character is a one-off character, since the main character doesn't have to get "close" to a single one of them. This novel becomes boring due to the lack of meaningful character interaction. (2/5 stars) World background is meh. I can't bring myself to give it a high rating because these worlds are just copied from other novels. DnD world, modern world where all things besides human evolve rapidly, xianxia world, warlock/sorcerer world, etc. None of them are that unique. (3/5 stars) Overall, a really shallow novel that is mildly interesting. I can't bring myself to read anymore due to the lack of effort on the translation. I give this novel 3.0 stars out of 5.
This easily is one of the novels with the best plot twists and has the most tear inducing moments. However, the quality drops later on. A lot of redundancy and the flow gets confusing. The author have become a slave of WORD COUNT.
Why did you have to change the simulator mahn why make it random smh the simulator’s functions were perfect before why make it worse.......................,.,,,,........................... .
hey denge the protagonist to the abyss world and name him start as a demon. And can you put more content about bloodlines and the heaven devouring scripture. Bloodlines are important
This is absolutely stupid. In his first situation he was in the world for 60 years but his mentality is that of a brat that has not seen anything in the world. Brainless Autorr logic
WASTE OF TIME AND LAST TWO OF MY BRAIN CELLS Translation starts out good but as goes on it gets to same level as MTL meaning it sucks disgusting. Writing quality also drops a lot author keeps skipping chapters and pointing out the obvious. MC dousn't have personality. Author has God complex our MC's description is always calm, handsome, gentle smile, tall, straight, like a God it keeps going. Author tries to make it look like MC has emotions through nostalgia making him visit places or people while he had almost zero real interactions
one of the most interesting and fun novel... webnovel has picked up its a gem honestly just hopefully, the translation speed goes up more>>>0.0<<<
Started reading, every single thing happening is repeated in different words, word padding is crazy and it's just first 15 chapters. Constant retelling of the previous chapters, unnecessary repetitions of the way relevant characters look, and done in the same manner. "Chen Heng's figure was tall and straight as he walked out of the alleyway. His figure was tall and straight. He was also somewhat handsome and had white skin. As he walked out of the alleyway, combined with his unique demeanor from practising martial arts, he attracted many people's gazes." And this is just one example of many in pretty much every chapter. Really hard to stomach.
great novel. No braindead mc, mc explored multiple worlds, with different bodies, transferring strength to main body with each character completion. Mind-blowing twist somewhere in the middle. Highly recommend. Glad the Translation continued after hiatus.
Novel was really solid, translation was good and it held my interest, but the novel was dropped at one point and then switched to terribly edited machine translations.
love it how the author mixed murim, cultivation , fantasy, and sci-fi world in the novel a nice and really innovative style. Keep up the good work good sir💓
Author has been very smart with everything from all the world mc visits to the actual real world he resides in. My personal favourite was the cultivation, the ending of that world actually made me bawl my eyes out. Its an amazing piece of literature. Hope it gets all the recognition it deserves.
This an excellent piece of art, as a fantasy reader it really fullfit my expectations. Nice world building even with so many systems. The power scale it's well implemented. It somehow reassemble to warlock of magus world. The end is a new mistery but I think that's enough.
