Chapter 36: Chapter 36 Bus
Rex was sleeping with his eyes open when Aizawa called him, "Rex, answer this question."
"Hu? Hm… hmmm." Rex woke up with a funny tone. All his classmates chuckled when they heard him. Rex stood up and answered the question correctly then went to sleep again.

"Today's training will be a little different. You will have three instructors. I, All Might, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you." Aizawa said after the class.
"Sir, what kind of training is this?" Sero asked.
"Rescue. We will be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, and stuff like that." Aizawa said.
"Great, I can't wait to beat that tin can!" Bakugo grinned.
"Try to beat Midoriya first," Rex said with half-open eyes.
"Bastard!" Bakugo became angry.
"Keep quiet. It's not battle so settle down. It's up to you if you want to wear the costume since it is still ill-fitted for some students. So change and get ready." Aizawa pressed a button and hidden cabinets emerged from the wall.
Rex went to the changing room to wear his costume along with other boys.
"Colonel Ida, I am leaving the responsibility of organizing seating arrangements on the bus," Rex said to Ida.
"Yes, sir," Ida said with a salute.

"Line up according to your ID numbers and sit in an orderly fashion!" Ida said in front of the bus.
"Why are you organizing us? Where is our captain?" Kirishima asked.
"He asked me to do this job. As a colonel of class 1A, it is my responsibility." Ida said tilting his glasses.
Kyoka and Momo were chatting with Rex and Tokoyami who were just sitting there listening like a cool loner.
"You are too lazy," Kyoka said to Rex who was looking at the sky.
"I am not lazy. My job is to give orders not babysitting you all." Rex said.
"Sigh* you are still in this play?" Momo asked.
"Booya!" Rex said and Kyoka chuckled. She enjoyed being on his side as Rex is funny.

"I can't believe… my organizing strategy failed…" Ida frowned looking down.
"It's okay colonel Ida but make sure to not mess next time," Rex said sitting next to Todoroki with an ice bag cooling his head.
"Yes…" Tenya answered.
They thought that Rex was taking advantage of poor Ida but they can't do anything.
Rex looked at Todoroki and said, "Thanks for making ice for me. You should try to become a cook."
Todoroki simply nodded.
"It's nice to have an ice quirk. Do you have a sister who is single?" Rex asked.
"…" Todoroki was speechless and didn't know what Rex might want from his sister.
"Oi, red and white guy!" Bakugo turned around to face Todoroki and Rex, "How does it feel to sit with someone who has beaten you?"
Rex felt that Bakugo has stepped on a mine. Everyone was excited to see how Todoroki would react but that storm didn't come.
"Nothing I will beat him next time." Todoroki said then added, "How does it feel to be beaten my Midoriya?"
"Pff, damn! Not even Recovery Girl could heal that burn," Rex said while snickering.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY, BASTARD?!" Bakugo roared.
"But seriously Bakugo you need to control your anger or you will be tricked again," Rex said.
"Huh?! There is no way that nerd could beat me again!"
"Then how about a challenge?"
"What challenge?!"
"Simple. You have to remain silent for the next 10 seconds no matter what I say." Rex said and everyone who heard him became excited to see the challenge.
"Bring it on!"
"Hay, Bakugo. Midoriya has a quirk and he didn't tell his bestie." Rex said with a grin.
"DEKUUU uhhh…" Bakugo realized that he lost the challenge as soon as it begins.
Midoriya was nervous seeing his childhood friend whom he feared has been getting teased by others. He has to say Rex's skills whether it was planning or combat, it was top notch.
"I am generally saying what's on my mind."
"Oh! What is it Asui?" Midoriya asked.
"Call me Tsu." Asui said then asked, "Your quirk kind of reminds me of All Might."
"I-is that s-s-so? Haha, mine… isn't like…" Midoriya started to stutter.
"Wait, All might doesn't hurt himself so there is a huge difference," Kaminari said.
Rex thought that Midoriya was so obvious but thanks to Kirishima's intervene, the Pandora box didn't open. Just like All Might, Midoriya was also very simple and obvious.
"But I have to say, I am jealous of you. You could do many flashy types of stuff. My hardening is strong to beat bad guys but it doesn't look that impressive." Kirishima said hardening his hand.
"I-I think your quirk is strong and you will become a pro hero for real," Midoriya said.
Rex thought that Midoriya is really suited for All Might's powers. A simple looking guy who wants to save people and become a hero. No hidden mind of his own like Rex whose brain was always making plans for the future.
"Like my navel laser which is strong and flashy," Aoyama said looking straight to the abyss where no one dared to look at.
"But you get a stomach ache," Mina said patting his shoulder.
"If we are talking about flashy stuff then it is gotta be Todoroki, Bakugo, and Rex, right?" Kirishima said.
"?" Everyone became concentrated as whose quirk is flashier. Rex only showed them his machines but never use them in combat whereas Todoroki and Bakugo have shown their quirks quite well.
"Tch." Bakugo clicked his tongue when he heard his name mentioned.
"Sure, but Bakugo will always be angry so he will never be popular. He didn't last even 4 seconds in Rex's challenge." Asui said.
"What did you say, frog face?!" Bakugo screamed.
"See," Asui said pointing at Bakugo.
"He has a good quirk but his personality is shit. He will never be popular." Kaminari said.
"I WILL BE POPULAR!" Bakugo roared.
"I agree with Bakugo," Rex said.
"??" Everyone looked at Rex confusedly but then noticed Rex's grin.
"He will be popular as an angry mouth farting hero. "LOOK, I AM BAKAGO. MY QUIRK IS STRONG AND I AM NUMER 1 HERO. NOTICE ME!!" Pff he will be super popular." Rex said and the whole bus burst into laughter.
"I WILL KILL YOU!!" Bakugo was enraged.
"Keep quiet! We are here." Aizawa said with curved lips hiding his laugh.
Rex glanced at the dome-like facility and thought that U.A. was really investing a good amount of budget in young heroes to train them as hard as possible without letting them face potential danger. But then he felt that something was off about it.
