Chapter 28: Chapter 28: Trap

“Sh*t! Birch! Do something! Shoot!” Dawson shouted exasperated.

Although Birch had been training, his state of mind shifted too much when the attack began. He couldn’t think properly. He didn’t know whether to run or to fight and even If the latter was the answer he wasn’t experienced enough to try and aim for the place where the creature would be.

“What? How? Where?” He let out, trying to figure what was going on.

“SHOOT!” It didn’t help that Dawson was rushing him, causing Birch to get even more anxious.

Anua took the lead and fired a small wave at the thing. She couldn’t see but could tell exactly where the orgaion was coming from. Her wave wasn’t the greatest thing, but at least she managed to draw attention to herself.
