Chapter 23: Same Dream
It was a restless night for both the sisters. Camy and Ciel turned and tossed several times under their blanket but to no avail. They got to sleep when it was past midnight, however, not even an hour had passed before they both woke up from their slumber.
Camy was the first one to wake up.
What is happening to me? That dream which I just saw was a dream or a distant memory Camy questioned herself. No matter how much hard she tried she just couldn't understand her dream. She was no sleepier, so she decided to take a walk in their garden to have some fresh air. She then slowly took an outer and wore it above her sleeping gown. The gown was pretty decent but now, as they were living in the mansion with so many servants, she decided to cover herself in case somebody tried anything funny. Although she was way more than capable of handling them, she didn't want to stir trouble in the middle of the night, and with that, she made her way to the garden.
The corridor was quite eerie at midnight with all the guards hidden. If not for the moonlight which was the illuminating path, she would have never walked this way. Soon she passed the corridor and came in front of the garden. Inside the garden, there were several benches, so she decided to take a seat on one of the benches. She had just closed her eyes when she heard Ceci's voice.
"Sissy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night" Ceci spoke, and with that, she sat beside Camy and she waited for an answer.
Ceci too was woken up from her slumber when her dream completed. She was just laying around in the bed when she heard the sound of the door opening and closing beside her room. The room beside her was of her dear sister Camy. Then she heard the sounds of footsteps and panicked. In a hurry, she wore an outer over her nightgown and came outside of her room to see that her dear sister was walking in the corridor. She wanted to call her sister but decided against it. It was past midnight and if she called her now then everyone in the mention would hear her and it would create a ruckus, so she just quietly followed her sister to the garden.
"I woke up from a dream as I was not feeling sleepy so I decided to take a walk in the garden. What about you,?How come you are here?" Camy asked in concern.
"I too sis. I also woke up from a dream and was laying around in the bed when I heard the opening of your door and so I just followed you" Ceci explained with a silly smile.
