It seems as her wedding is getting near it is getting harder and harder for Margaery to see her husband to be
By now Margaery is sure that the young wolf has put some old first men spell on her, all her efforts to seduce him seem to be ineffective but Robb stark somehow found her way into her heart and he is not going to go away anytime soon
But the last few days it has become especially hard to se her young wolf as the queens and stark men are spending all their time with the Grand Maester in his chambers, reading old books and doing god knows what
Even the time Robb is with her he seems to be focused on something else entirely, they were getting close but something happened and it's like all her efforts for him to open up her are in vain, she even asked her grandmother about this but her grandmother just told her that all men act strange before their wedding and not to think about it
But Margaery knows that something is not right, something has happened something big and it's not just the Starks but the royal family is also acting weird, the queen regent especially is also not in good mood these days, the courtiers are bending over backwards to not upset the queen regent these last few days
But enough is enough she is not going to stay quiet anymore and hope that Robb will open tell her what is going on, so she made her way to the godswoods, this is were Robb spends most of his time these days expect with the grand Maester
As she made her way through the woods she finally saw him, Robb stark is sitting under the giant oak tree with the face carved on it while reading a book
Margaery came her to have good talk with her husband to be but see this she was just stood there, the whole scene look like a beautiful painting as a slow breeze passed moving the leaves around, for the first time she met him his redish hair were not all tied up but we're freely set to his side, and those beautiful blue eyes that were completely focused on that old book in his hands like nothing else mattered
As Margaery was stuck watch this she felt a small breath on her right ear, as she slowly turned to see there was a big wolf head near her
"Ahhhh" she yelled suprised by the giant direwolf by her side and fell on the ground but the giant wolf just stood there looking at her curiously, this is not first time Greywind Robb stark's direwolf has suprised her like this by now she is sure that big wolf intentionally embarrass her
As she tried to get up Robb was already in front her helping her get up," are you all right my lady "
"I am fine but this wolf of yours nearly stopped my heart, is this how are marriage is going to be you running away and your wolf scaring me every chance he gets"
Robb just smiled and ran his hand through greywind's fur " don't mind greywind he likes to suprise people first it was my mother than Sansa ,but he did have trouble surprising Arya because she was one chasing after greywind for once until she got nymeria" then he turned to the grey wolf" you are not allowed to mess with lady Margaery anymore go play with siblings"
The giant direwolf looked at her and then went away
"What brings you here lady Margaery" he asked as he once again open the book in his hand
"What else we are supposed to wed soon but you are avoiding me, what is that important that lord stark doesn't even has time for this beautiful lady, how are we supposed to have a life together if I can't even win against a book for your attention" Margaery said in a completely serious tone
Robb closed his book and looked directly at her his eyes were golden just like his direwolf " Lady Tyrell of course you are very important to me but I can't talk to you about this, this is something I can only discuss with lady stark, a wolf not a rose when you are a stark I will tell you whatever you want to know but now I have some vital matters to deal with"
Seeing him act to seriously Margaery just nodded and left
Grand Maester's chambers
Robb stark's pov
Robb felt bad for dealing with Margaery is such a way but now was not the time to deal with those things, they have far more important matters to deal with
Robb thought he knew his brother Jon but only now he realised how much he was unaware about, while he was growing up playing with his siblings without a care in the world Jon was making plans to make sure that seven kingdoms survive the long night
For the last few days Maester Aemon was was telling about what was really happening beyond the wall and what kind preparation were made by Jon in the last few years
As he was sitting there with his father and the queens the grand Maester started " as you all are now familiar with the long night and the white walkers we can start to talk about what we are going to do for now on, Lord Stark after young Robb's wedding you will stay in the north to start preparing the north for what's to come,a new hand is being prepared as we speak to take your place, aside from that a thousand giants are coming to stay near winterfell, while the wall is holding strong now but no one can be sure when the white walkers will breach it so for now these giants will be staying near winterfell, you also have to make sure that freefolk and the Northerners don't cause trouble with each other, after the wedding the two wights we brought south so all of the seven kingdoms can start making preparations for the long night"
Then the old maester continued "Aegon will directly come to winterfell for the wedding and return south with us, I know that this is huge task but all of the seven kingdoms must come together if we want stand a chance against what's coming for us all, we must be ready before the wall falls"
